      In August of 24 I got a members with them after a sales person lied to me about the end of a promotion being that day, after 2-3 weeks and only going there once or twice I hated it there and moved in with a friend for a short while in ************* and so i called to cancel. After about the 20th time someone picked up and told me to email the membership department as it was the only way. When I emailed them about canceling and their awful customer service not only did it take almost a week for someone to get back to me but they only did so the moment I wrote a bad review and they asked for papers showing proof I moved. As I couldn't provide those seeing as I wasn't on a lease on any kind. I asked them to cancel still not under relocation and they proceeded to continue to tell me that I needed to submit papers to cancel under relocation and I clarified once more that I did not want to cancel under that but thag I just wanted it canceled, at which point they stopped replying and it has been almost 2 weeks and a month of this run around and not only have I been charged again for something I emailed them about canceling in September but reading multiple reviews and hearing stories they apparently do this to alot of people. Lie, halt communication to get more money, and offer awful customer service and speak rudely just to prolong you membership and get more money out of you by doing so.

      Per their terms and conditions & the Consumer Review Fairness Act, penalizing me for an honest review is not legal and they claimed no right to be able to revoke my access/cancel my membership without informing me unless I am not paying for it. They dragged their feet to find a resolution and failed to inform me on any decisions they made regarding my access and membership.January 16, 2023, one of their pieces of equipment ripped my leggings and they wouldn't reimburse me for the damages.January 18, 2023, out of frustration I submitted a one-star ****** review stating "terrible management. and i've heard the owner can't keep his hands to himself." as the owner, *********************, has allegations against him for the latter of my statement. I didn't claim it was true, i only shared the information i've heard as a cautionary tale. However, I did take that part out of my review slightly over 12 hours later.January 19, 2023, I arrive to the gym and find my key fob no longer works. The front desk lady said I am no longer allowed there due to false accusations on a ****** review. She took my phone number and said she'd give me a call if there was anything we could do about the matter.January 21, 2023, I called the gym again as I hadn't gotten any calls from them, in the call I asked of the status on my access and for any further updates, I was told I still had no access and that she'd call me with an update the next day after their staff meeting.January 23, 2023, I hadn't gotten a call from them so I reached out, and was told I would be getting a letter from their lawyers and we could decide how to move forward after I see what is said in the letter.January 27, 2023, I had not gotten a letter by this time so I called them to inform them that I've not received anything and requested to freeze my account as to not be charged until the matter was resolved. She said they cancelled my membership and that I could contact the lawyers if I want when the letter does arrive.

      I purchased a membership with PAC. When I purchased my membership I specifically asked the receptionist AND the ***** if I could cancel anytime. Both told me, yes, that I could cancel anytime. I or my child never once used the membership and so I called to cancel. They then told me I signed a year contract and that I would be required to pay the full year membership. I was lied to. This was textbook bait and switch. Both the owner and receptionist lied about their terms. My account has now been sent to collections. This business has engaged in unethical behavior in the past.
