      I am a current customer at the ********************************************* in ********, **********. I checked in at 4pm Jan, 5th with my partner and dropped my bags off. We came back later that night to go to bed and after climbing into the sheets noticed a STRONG odor of URINE in the sheets. I called the number at the front desk and was met and explained the situation to the lady on the phone. She offered NO SOLUTION and NO APOLOGY, stating there was nothing that could be done until the morning. No new sheets, no room we could get moved to. Frustrated would be an understatement for this situation. She sat silently on the phone until I hung up.After getting off the phone with the Best Western up the street where we were considering moving to, I called the the front desk attendant back, asking for a manager or supervisors number and a full refund for the inconvenience this has caused us. This is when the woman became more helpful and asked to meet me downstairs. She happened to have another room available for us. She also stated that the room was recently renovated and the bed had been replaced, yet half the light switches did not work, the paint on the walls were peeling, the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, and the entire room stunk of stale cigarettes. This entire situation could have been avoided had the front desk attendant shown some empathy for the situation and offered solutions rather excuses.
