      On Friday August 26, 2022 ************************* of ******* Mobile *********, slaughtered ********** at our farm in *********, ********** and delivered the carcasses to Stephenson Meat Cutting on ************************************* in ********** ********** for processing to include cut and wrap. After not hearing from them for several days, on September 2, 2022 we called the shop with no answer **************. We then called the cell phone number ************** and spoke with ******* Stephenson.******* apologized for the delay, explained a personal situation and asked us to text our information to her at the same number. We texted her our information and our request on Friday, September 2, at 11:03 a.m. We received the hanging weights of the three pigs from that number and sent contact information for each pig so cutting instructions could be taken (screen shots of texts can be provided).After the last text on September 9, 2022 we didnt hear from her again. We began reaching out through calls and texts in October and finally received a text reply on November 5, 2022. In her reply she stated that she would reach out with a pick up time the following week. We waited two weeks and heard nothing. We began reaching out again on November 19 and have not received a response as of the date of this letter (have additional text screen shots). Recent calls to the business line indicate it has been disconnected. The business website also now indicates the business is permanently closed. At this point we are left with few options, as we do not have our meat nor do we have a date for pick up. At this time we have sent a certified letter which serves as a formal written attempt to get our pig meat. At this point Stephenson Meat Cutting owes **** and *************** our ****** cut/wrapped as promised or a reimbursement for cost of purchasing, raising and slaughtering 3 market hogs. **** and ***************.
