We signed a contract with AP Custom Remodel to renovate two bathrooms, do a kitchen back splash and put hardwood floors in the kitchen and landing. They started work February 6th and gave ** a 7-9 week time frame to complete the project. The original contract was for $54,000. There was an addition to the contract of $9,000 to renovate a third bathroom as well.At this point only about 30 percent of the project is complete and we only have $2,000 dollars of the contract left to pay. There was a turnover in the business that we were informed of. The co-owner who he were primarily working with ****, is no longer with the business. The remaining owner ******, asked us for extra time to complete the project. That was at the end of March. We agreed to the request with a completion date of the first full week in June. Our problem now is that there is much work to complete, no project is completely finished, and they haven't even started on the wood floors yet which was $14,000 of our contract. Furthermore they are no longer replying to my texts or my phone calls which makes us concerned that they are walking away from our job. We would like them to finish the job well that we have contracted in a timely manner and reopen our line of communication. I attached a few pictures of some of the things that are yet to be completed.
