I made a reservation and booked online for an ** store with access to laundry room, club house, showers, and bathrooms. When I arrived, the site I had paid for online was chained off. No one was on site managing the facility, so I parked in the empty store next to it.I called and emailed numerous times in the first 24 hours asking how to get access to the facilities as the ** site was nearly $92/night.Without these amenities, way overpriced ** site!!!!!I stayed 2 nights before being told I could not stay the 3 & 4 th which I had already paid for and booked online because the site was full and someone else was already booked in my site. At some point during my stay, someone working for the company has unchained the site I originally paid for and there were quickly campers in it. It was a fiasco! The long story short. I overpaid for my stay as I NEVER RECEIVED ACCESS TO THE FACILITIES NOR DID I RECEIVE A REFUND ON THE **** I DID NOT STAY, was told I had to check out because I was double booked for a spot someone else had rented months in advance. The woman who called and told me I had to check out, never even refunded my money. I would like my refund of that night and a partial refund of the rest of my stay for never receiving access to the facilities. Ive been trying to resolve this with the business directly since March. Ive only gotten the run around explaining and reexplaining to the different people who have no intention of doing the right thing nor seem to have any integrity.

Hello, I am unsure what the complaint is?

      Business Response

********************* only had reservations for 3 nights and only paid for 3 nights. She never paid for a fourth night. Every guest is left a packet when they arrive at the park that has a fob inside that gives you access to the bathrooms and laundry rooms.

The chains that are on the sites are magnetic and can be easily removed when lifted off the post.

The system that we use to make the bookings does not allow for double bookings so it would not have been possible to double book a spot at the park.

I am rejecting this response because:

i only stayed 2/3 nights and no one was on site the entire time I was there.

Where are packets left!? Because all three rvs that checked in that day were unsure of where to get a fob.
no instructions for these easily unchained barriers were given in the reservation email and no instructions on where these packets would be left were included either. A representative from a property management company told me that people made a booking months before and it was not recorded, that they come every year, with other rv owners and friends. I received a vm message saying I had to check out by 11 am. I did as the next campers were waiting by 10:30.

Look, I have the emails I sent asking you where the fobs could be picked up and no one responded, the reservation email did not disclose this information, and NO ONE EVER GREETED US ON SITE AS NO ONE WAS THERE. Several campers were trying to figure out how to access the facilities, not just myself.

So where are these packets you are mentioning left when no one is in the office!?! Why did no one respond to my emails while camping on site!? The instructions I received were to download an app for facility access, it says fobs provided when applicable. That to me sounds like a a second option, and only when the app is unavailable. So do you remember why I would have been left a packet, if the app was available!?  Why did it take filing a bbb complaint for you to finally discuss the matter!?!

      Sincerely,
