    Had some fence work to be done. Estimator came to home and then gave us an estimate to complete work and the price to do it. I asked to purchase materials only and we would provide the labor. I had my landscaper pick up the materials per the estimator to complete the job. ****** from Valencia Fencing mentioned he would have the materials ready for pickup as they would not deliver the materials. Landscaper was able to pick up and help me complete the job on 4/7/2023 and there was an additional wrought iron fence section, taller than my existing fence that was left over. I asked Valencia Fencing if I would be able to return the section to them and get a refund as the materials estimated were not accurate. This was their reply on 4/12/2023: "I apologize but the estimate made was based off the list provided. All of our material sales are final as it was stated on the estimate as well. Again, I apologize for this inconvenience but if there is anything else we can do for you please let us know. Thank you,****** Office Coordinator Valencia Fencing LLC *************"I feel this is unfair as the estimator evidently estimated incorrectly. Not being fence people, we trust what they estimate to be what is accurate to complete a job. I would like you to contact them to resolve this as we had to pick up the materials in the first place and now will have to likely return them to the business.

    Attached is the original estimate as well as the paid receipt. In both, it states that all sales are final and that the customer must verify product before leaving.

    We do not offer delivery services. This is something we tell all of our customers. 

    As a company, it is our responsibility to make sure our customers are well helped and receive the best products necessary for their projects. We especially take into great consideration when they are not knowledgeable of said products. 

    When giving material quotes, we make sure what we are providing is what our customers are requesting. From the footage to the height. This is another reason why we like to have our customers verify their product before it leaves our business location. 

    We also did the customer the favor of keeping the material for them until they were ready which was roughly half a year. We typically allow 2 weeks to hold material.

    I am rejecting this response because: The estimate is INCORRECT!!!!!!!!!! Whoever came to our home included the 70" x ****" panel press pear WHICH WAS NOT NEEDED for the fence repair. Even though I paid for this estimate, I did not understand their lingo for what was needed for the fence repair. I am requesting the $286.65 charge be refunded as it WAS NOT NEEDED and to have the company pick up this panel.
