      ****************************************************************** before buying membership to make sure I could use it for daypass for swimming only. After spending the $500, campground wouldn't let me in w/o member card (never got till 5 months after purchase), finally convinced them on second attempt 3 weeks later to use member number. They informed me I had the wrong option on my membership and needed to add "Trails Collection". So I paid another $300 and tried a 3rd time (now a month after purchase) & got it (but not without a lot of confusion/argument). I managed to get back in 3 more times in the next 3 weeks (each time meeting a different gate agent and having to re-explain the membership to them). On the 4 time, was informed they changed their ********** wouldn't be allowed back in.I called ThousandTrails who told me I couldn't be refunded because it was past 30 days ( I pointed out it was within 30 days of finally being allowed into the park but that didn't matter). They told me it was my fault for not seeing that "trails collection" campgrounds didn't adhere to the same policies as were on their website. I pointed out I had double checked *this usage* at *that* campground with *************************************************** before buying membership - didn't matter. They finally gave me back $300 add-on, but not the original $500 (though had said so on phone). I decided to be done with it since I was canceled.3 months later, got call from ThousandTrails offering me help in using my membership better. I turned them down saying I had canceled. They let me know I wasn't canceled and couldn't cancel and had to call a different number. Called, talked to first tier & supervisor who both said I'd have to wait 8 months and call back during that specific 1 month window to cancel & not be charged again!!!! I didn't get what was advertised even though still charged, spent 50+ hours on the phone to reach tehm (always called back during ********* ***** I can't just cancel? Scam! Cancel my membership now!!!

      I have had a camping pass, membership for the last 5 years, monthly payments were were paid with my **************** account. Then Last August I notified customers service that I would pay Our membership in full for the 2021/2022 year, using our **** card. I spoke to Representative *************** also let them know we were not planning on renewing after that. Prior the the August 2022 This July 5th I sent Thousands Trails a written notice that we would not be renewing our membership camping pass & Trails collection. Then I received a Dues statement the last week in July, which I again sent a second written notice to cancel. On Aug 1st without my consent they submitted a charge to my **************** card for $80.00 as a automatic recurring payment.August 1st & 3rd I called **************** and filed a dispute. And I called Thousands Trails to cancel And dispute the charges. I was told by **************** that Thousands Trails was paid the $80.00 I want Thousands Trails to return the funds to **************** and I want them to close our account as they have been given multiple written and verbal notices! Sincerely ************************************ & *********************
