      I trusted and signed an agreement with Interbay Transport to transport my vehicle interstate. Upon delivery, new damage was noted to the vehicle. The driver refused to give me the car unless I sign a document stating that the car was not damaged. Otherwise, he would load up the car and leave. Police were contacted. The driver ran away. Interbay Transport dispatcher and owner were informed of the situation. After months of back and forth, they refused to take responsibility, and they tried to take themselves out of the equation, blaming it on the driver. I contacted the driver, the company, the owner, and the dispatcher, without any resolution. Interbay states they are not responsible for anything.This company has been an utter disappointment to work with. They caused damage to my vehicle and are refusing to get it taken care of. I do not recommend them to any individual/ business. No values or ethics. If you sign with them, your car might get damaged, and no one will help you.

      We agreed to arrange transport of the customers vehicle. The only signature that took place was to the *************************** Of Lading and signed by the customer at the time of pickup. Any claims of transport damage are to be handled directly by the carrier and / or the carrier's insurance company. After we were notified of an incident at delivery by the customer, we immediately offered to work as a go between for the customer and contacted the carrier to investigate. The carrier was not moving fast enough for the customer so the customer asked us for the carrier's insurance information so they could file a claim directly with the carrier's insurance company. We provided all of that and then stepped out of the middle. Some time later I was notified by the customer that for whatever reason, they were unable to get anywhere with the carrier's insurance and demanded that we (the broker) pay for the alleged damage. We did everything that we could do to facilitate a real damage claim. I'm assuming that the customer never contacted the carrier's insurance company or the carrier's insurance company denied the claim. I want to note that we expect all of our carriers to provide our customers with the best quality experience possible and if the carrier's driver behaved in the way that the customer stated, then I sincerely apologize. We do our best to work with quality carriers but cannot control the actions of their drivers. The damage claims process is in place for a reason and when the insurance companies get involved, that is when we have to step out of the situation.
