  What started off promising turned into a nightmare. They installed a complete new roof, front siding rework and painting. Over $110k paid and 3 years later, the painting was never completed, leaving me to fix their mistakes.We started with the roof, from the time of the quote and down payment, it took nearly a year before the work would start. The crew was great, and the work was mostly satisfactory with the exception of a few hoods that were not secured, some screen and deck damage from falling debris. The siding work was mostly done well with the exception of the caulking and backfilling of the nail holes. The difference in this work vs. the roofing was that he charged time and materials, which far exceeded the initial estimate by almost double. Total work took about five months and half way through I had to plead with them not to pause and go to another job location.The painting project was the worst of everything. Took about 4 months for them to come and tape off the house, then left the house taped and sealed for another 2 months. When painting finally commenced, we realized that they had substituted the cheap paint (******* ******** Super paint) for the agreed upon premium paint (******* ******** Emerald). The painting project started so late in September that the cold rainy season had started. Paint is permanently tacky and just about everything sticks to it. Lots of drips, over spray and nail holes that were never properly filled from the front siding project. The trim was only applied as a thin single coat, wood shows through the paint. Mold is now growing on untreated plywood they used.Upon reviewing my payment history vs. the charges he presented, he ultimately overcharged us $10k from an extra check we paid them half way through the front siding work. I have not been able to file a complaint because salesman kept promising to fix it, then nothing. They are no longer reachable and refuse to finish the work or even fix anything.

  So as I read this complaint it describes the length of time of starting and finishing the project which for his siding it did take longer than expected but for reasons of unseen rot around his home and also him changing to siding panels that had to be ordered in that were special panels that are not stock items. These  siding panels also were brand new to us because they were a new product that we never used so his complaint about holes being filled were due to the fact we never used this product. We also never offered him this product and he brought it to are attention they were available so we searched and found them. So needless to say they were new to my installers and did not finish off filling holes. He complains about the cost rising and it did due to rot on his home and the customer changing the scope of work. We have this all documented. His complaint about the paint being changed is false. We have ******* ******** Super paint listed on the contract. Complaint about leaving his job would ONLY be because we had to wait on the special panels he changed to even if we left because we do not leave a job until finished. Im the owner **** ********* and he never reached out. to me one time with issues and proceed to try and contact my painters about his painting issues because if he did it would of been taking care of promptly. Since this has come up 3 years later which I dont understand at all I have people going there this week to address any issues and is still seeing.
