Brett Wiemann committed to and signed a contract to design a preschool (educational) building for me, which required a zone change from residential to educational. He told me he was able to take on such a project. He mislead and lied to me. I was forced to hire on a second ********* to review and stamp his work because Brett Wiemann does not have the required credentials required by Washington State law to oversee the design of any educational buildings. I had to hire a second ********* who provided legal review and oversight as I needed a licensed ********* as required for this type of permitting and construction in the State of **********. I could not afford to start all over again with a new *********, so the licensed ********* I had had to review and stamp Brett Wiemann's designs. She stated there were many errors that required many hours of work and correspondence. He also did not show up to a scheduled on-site meeting. Up until I dismissed (fired) Brett Wiemann I had to pay for services from two *********s which was of great financial strain on me and also caused a delay in my project. He lied from start to finish of his work with me and mislead me to believe that I would be able to use his services only for my project. This took place in *********.

******** ***** was well informed, at every step of the way, of the requirements for permit. In no way was she misled. There are over ***** email exchanges clarifying each step. I would be happy to share the numerous emails if necessary. I informed Ms. ***** that I had worked on a previous preschool project in *********** that did not require me to have a registered license in the state of **********. She was made aware that I was working to full licensure with 2 tests remaining. In no way was she forced to continue to work with me. It is common practice, and in some instances obligated, to acquire peer review for permits. She willingly and knowingly entered into a contract with me and with ***** ***** who performed the plan review and applied her stamp. Ultimately the permit documents were acquired on schedule and at fair market value. There were no unknown costs or delays associated with my work nor with the work of ***** *****, both contracts explicitly outline time and expense associated with review. Ms. ***** did not convey any complaints or concerns until the last few weeks of our work together. I was unable to be proactive and accommodate Ms. ***** as I was unaware of any issues or concerns. Previous to this complaint we had over 3 years of successful communication and partnership. The complaints I'm receiving are very surprising.

Attached are the two contracts and the email showing that Ms. ***** signed the contract for ***** ***** over a year ago. Additionally, the majority of work was done after Ms. ***** was made aware of the need for a second architect.
