Kaiser Permanente, is an awful insurance company Ive been going to my doctor for almost 2 decades and theyve been paying for her and now all of a sudden nobody gives me a call. I find out for my doctor that they no longer want me to see her. They want me to see one of their awful doctors that does nothing to help you. They need to do their job and actually let the patient see what doctor they want to see let alone one theyve been seen almost 2 decades. You dont get to change it without notification and on top of that my husband tried to get me off of this crappy insurance for last year and a half and Kaiser wont take me off because they wanna keep stealing money from my husbands paycheck. I can see why people cant stand to have them when their employer says we have Kaiser Permanente because they know nothings gonna get paid, but theres still money out of your paycheck and provide you nothing.

I would give a zero if I could. Who the h*** gave you the right to control my prescriptions. I live 3 1/2 hours away from a pharmacy and you tell me I have to go to your pharmacy or mail-order them. Ok mail ordered them. Got them once. Called to get them again still waiting for them. Got doctor to refill them. Out again and now Kaiser refuses to fill them. My prescriptions are over ******* a month. Thats why I have INSURANCE RIGHT. Kaiser has refused to fill them again and I am not paying for them. Time to switch companies. I will be without my vital medication again for months since I cant change anytime soon. Thanks Kaiser. Hope I dont die from this. It would be their fault for not fulfilling their duties as an insurance carrier. And we are forced to have insurance. Why. They only take our money and fight to pay the bills.

My father always said socialized healthcare means long wait times and subpar service. Well Kaiser has brought that same feeling to the private sector. You will wait months and months to be scheduled for any kind of procedure, it's been over 8 months now and I am still not scheduled. I was finally notified that they are ready to schedule, but the person who manages schedulibg has yet to call me back... It's been a few weeks now. Companies like kaiser permanente are the exact reason we should all be voting for universal/socialized healthcare.

Barely competent "professionals" that work harder to protect the bottom line of Kaiser than they work to protect you. They have policies and treatment guidelines that are designed to give patients anxiety. You have to make an appointment online to get seen, and even with an appointment you end up shuffled between these cramped unventilated waiting rooms with all manner of sick people in them. Then you have the doctors themselves. These are failures who shouldn't be in medicine. They misdiagnose and mistreat 99% of the time. Every member of my family has a dozen horror stories about how poorly they were treated at Kaiser and zero stories about great doctors who treated them with empathy and compassion.Personally, they gave me a unnecessary cancer scare because they misdiagnosed a spot on my head, something they should have sent me to a dermatologist for but their cost cutting procedures led them to instead spend almost $3000 figuring out if it's cancer when they could have just spent a couple minutes putting liquid nitrogen on it, which is what a non-Kaiser doctor did within a couple minutes of looking at it.In addition to the cancer scare, each step of the way through it there was a 2-5 hour wait in a cramped waiting room with people who looked like they were dying of COVID. These waiting rooms did not have adequate ventilation as I could smell the ** of a guy 20 feet away.
