I subscribed to the Hiya app to block spam ******** worked fine for awhile but then I couldnt access the phone messages from the app. I spent a lot of time trying to get this straightened out, but communication with Hiya was difficult and I never got a straight answer. I removed the app and cancelled the subscription quite awhile ago. There were several messages that Hiya had, but I was never able to get them. Yesterday, I received a text message from Hiya saying I have 9 voicemails and telling me to open the app to listen to them. I sent Hiya an email about the problem, but havent yet heard from them. They say dont guarantee an answer. How can I get this straightened out? Im concerned that they still have a connection to my phone and dont know what they are doing with it.

    Hello,

You can find the steps to deactivate the voicemail feature here:  How to activate or de-activate Enhanced Call Screening on iPhone **********************************************************************************************************************************************

Please make sure that you try the dialing codes on the help page to disable.

If that doesnt work youll have to reach out to your carrier for them to disable call forwarding on your line.  They should be able to that very easily, they have an internal tool for it.

I have tried numerous times to set up an account so ********************** can stop marking my telephone numbers as spam. Yet I keep getting an error code every time after follow HIYA's instructions to validate my email to create a username and password. And when I fill out HIYA's contact form for additional assistance, I received a generic email stating that HIYA may not respond to my request, and in that same generic email, it does not answer my concern or request. I need HIYA to rectify this situation as soon as possible. I've tried calling the telephone number that is listed on HIYA's website and ******** page, but it does not have a way to speak to a live person or offer any type of additional assistance.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against individuals who have maliciously and intentionally slandered my name and reputation through the Hiya and MrNumber applications. These individuals have fabricated pure lies to attack my character, which has resulted in significant damage to my personal and professional reputation. The malicious actions involve false reviews and derogatory comments associated with my business number. These unfounded accusations are entirely baseless and have been made with the sole intent of defaming me and harming my business.Given the severity of these false allegations, I am urgently requesting that all reviews related to my business number be removed from the Hiya and MrNumber platforms immediately. These reviews are not only false but are also a direct attempt to undermine my credibility and integrity.I trust that the Better Business Bureau will take swift and appropriate action to address this matter and protect the rights of individuals from malicious slander. I am available to provide any further information or documentation necessary to support my complaint.Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent matter.Sincerely,********************* *********** CEO

I am an Apple user and subscribed to the ********************** app years ago for call screening and I loved it. In January of 2023, they started the call forwarding option which I didn't want. Now all of my voicemails are basically held hostage by Hiya and I cannot access them. I have called the customer service number but it is unmanned and directs you to email the "support" department. I emailed them twice in the last 6 months however I have not heard back and I still cannot access my voicemails. I have cancelled my subscription and deleted the app. My calls STILL get forwarded to their system. They are a complete joke. Also the number listed on this website is incorrect. It belongs to a painting business.
