      On Sept 17th we went to a sing along. It was horrid. We were promised chairs ( I am disabled) no chairs. I looked up the capacity today. 240. We were told there were 275 people there. Over capacity!!! It was SO hot I felt like I was going to pass out. It was the worst experience . Nobody cared. I want my money back for me and my friend. We left after half hour. No chairs, 2 box fans which did nothing, no drinks like they promised. It was horrid Shame on you!!!I want the 65 dollars I paid back. Will never come back!!! Shame on you!!!

      We are sorry you didn't feel that you could get the support you needed for handicap accessibility and seating. Our team is trained to support any accommodation requests, but we'll review our systems to see if there is anything more we can do to help folks know where to go to ask questions. We'd be happy to offer you reserved seats to a future show at Fremont Abbey or Ballard Homestead.

      If it helps to know, our team was onsite and ready to support any individual who requested accommodation. We have signage posted, and information provided online about how to access that support. There was seating for ***** people and an area set aside to add more chairs as requested. Were you turned away when you asked a staff member for support?

      Curious what led you to believe that we were over capacity? We take fire code very seriously and can confirm that we were well under capacity for this show.

      I am rejecting this response because: you have it in video. The whole thing us video taped. The lady leading it said the number. I did not make it up

      I complained twice to the 2 people in the hall, who were more concerned about selling ginger beer then helping me. They told me to go sit outside, which I did until my friend agreed to leave.

      Side note, it felt like a covid event and now my friend has covid.

      There were absolutely not seats for that many people.  There were 2 benches  that were hotter then being in the crowd.  Honestly, do better. I would never go back to this Avenue. Absolutely the worst and then you lie. No seating, nobody helping, no crowd control. It was the worst experienceal! Do better!

      Hello ********, thank you for sharing. Again, we deeply regret that you felt unsupported in your quest for handicap accessibility and seating during your recent visit. Your experience matters greatly to us. Unfortunately, much of the information you have provided in these complaints is not factual based on photos of the event, interviews with staff and attendees and our ticketing data / venue defaults.

      Our team undergoes training to accommodate requests, including those related to accessibility.  We do always appreciate feedback and work regularly to reevaluate our processes to identify areas where we can enhance our support services, making it easier for all visitors to access the help they require.

      We'd like to clarify that our dedicated team was physically present on-site, fully prepared to assist anyone seeking accommodation. Our venues have flexible seating and space is always available for *** requests or needs.  We post clear signage and provide comprehensive online information about how to access our support services.  For this show our seating arrangements were designed to accommodate ***** individuals (on 6 large benches placed around the venue), and we had a designated area where additional chairs could be added promptly upon request. 

      We checked in with every staff member onsite and they confirmed that they helped all individuals find seating who asked. 
      While we do not have air-conditioning, we can confirm that windows were open. 
      We are not sure what was said from the stage, or by whom regarding capacity, but we can confirm, with 100% confidence, that we were well under capacity for this show (157 checked in).

      We are happy to provide you with free tickets to an upcoming show if you'd like to try at one of our venues again. Thank you for sharing your experience.

      You were fully understaffed and I literally felt like I would pass out. These are facts. 2 people offered me to sit outside. Way to go! No. I do not accept this response as it is lies. It was on video and I do plan to file a grievance. It is not at all for handicap people and I will request the tape. You were well over capacity. Shame on you!!!!

      We are concerned about the recent complaints filed by ************************************ She continues to state false information in her responses. Some of which are safety violations (fire code) which we take very seriously.

      The only piece of information that appears to be true is the staff member offering the recommendation to step outside if she was feeling unusually warm. (this issue was not reported by anyone else in the space - guest or staff)

      What are the next steps in proving that her complaints are not based in reality and removing her increasingly slanderous comments from our nonprofit profile? I attached images & reports in my last response to ******** but would be happy to supply any other information .

      Thank you for your assistance. We take customer service and accommodation very seriously and appreciate whatever recommendations you can provide as we face this unprecedented situation.
