    We booked a stay at ************* in *******, ** through this company and had a shockingly terrible experience. Once We paid to reserve a condo, we received a PDF with instructions to call upon arrival. I emailed them saying we would likely arrive later in the evening in case there were after hours instructions. We arrived after 7 PM, and called as instructed. This management company answered and rudely said I emailed instructions and hung up. I looked through the instructions again and saw an additional email in response to my late arrival heads-up email. The email instructed us to get Keys on the message board at the office if we were to arrive after 7 PM. My husband and I found the office, went inside and saw Keys hanging on a message board and retrieved them per the instructions. We took the keys for our unit- as we were heading back out of the reception area office, an angry little man came out out of nowhere and started screaming at us, saying what the h*** are you doing stealing Keys?!! We explained we rented a unit and were instructed to come get the keys after 7pm. Themanager Continue yelling at us saying I dont know who you are! and my husband offered to go get his ID, but the angry screaming man became even angrier, Saying he was going to call the police because we were stealing keys and he demanded we vacate the property!! The more I tried to reason and calmly defuse the situation the angrier and more violent the man became, screaming at us to leave now! He had balled up his fists and we decided wed best leave because this guy was acting violent and threatening. Being a holiday weekend, we spent hours looking for a place to stay and finally found a crappy hotel that had only one night vacancy. We had to drive 4 hours back home the next day. It felt like a horror movie, except that in most horror movies the manager pretends to be somewhat sane. Not the case at the HiTide.worst vacation experience of our lives & weve traveled the world!

    Negative stars on this company. Warning to EVERYONE...do NOT use this company to manage your short term rental. Worst experience of my life! Don't sign this contract... it's a trap. I'm still fighting them over a year past my contract termination. One of their guests broke my picture window in my ************ never even notified me. I found the window broken & they blamed it on ME! I'm ready to do what it takes to put this company down. No one should EVER have to deal with them. Honestly, I felt like I was going to have a stroke every time I tried to get a hold of them. It's a MASSIVE scam...stay away!!!

    Absolutely awful experience with this company. Stay away at all costs. The home was in very bad condition (broken tiles, water under said broken tiles causing bad smell, heat not working, deck closed because it had broken boards, literally an old toilet under the broken deck, vents not attached to the walls, tarps on roof due to leaks being weighted down by old bed frames, etc.), it was filthy (cobwebs EVERYWHERE, vacuum covered in mud, stains all over hardwood floors, dirty cabinets, etc.) and in general very clear it was not taken care of and not the nice photos posted on the property listing. The company at first was responsive to the heating issue, but was not receptive to any other issues about the condition of the home. They offered a cleaning fee refund that I have not seen and they refuse to even acknowledge the issues at the home. No one at the company will talk to me about the status of my refund request and the nice customer service I had during my stay completed shifted. They stonewall you with no information and forward you to a voicemail that no one listens to. You will never get a call back. They have a number of different DBAs (iStay, Hood Canal Hideaways, ********************, etc.), which honestly should have been a red flag and prevented me from even booking. They are very shady and in the maximize profit no matter what it takes business. Oh and they flat out lied to me about an onsite caretaker (said they were in a separate building, but they were not) to encourage me to book.

    As a current owner/host, the team is only out to charge the owner excessive cleaning/maintenance fees on top of what they are already being paid for by the renter. Charged me $1K a month in fees on top of their 29% of rental income fee. I proved on camera the fees were inaccurate and the office said the cameras were inaccurate. Office is unresponsive and supportive. They could care less about the owners, only there to price gauge them. Stay away from these guys at all cost. They are in the business of financial fraud.They are a network of ***** companies, ***'s, and affiliates that go by many names. See secretary of state website for details. Terms and conditions are 7000+ words long and full of peril. They collect the asset and you collect the liabilities. Known as Vortex VIP, Sunspots, Istay, Welcome *********************** 365, .......

    Beach House North ******* has green mold climbing up most window screens, dirt /mold in all windows ***** and sliding doors, windows have caked on dirt and oven was filthy Lots of scuffs on stair case and walks, paint chips dents all over house.Sliding door in living room lock is broken and management hung up when I tried to enquirer about state of house
