    Order #**** Date Order Placed: 12/04/2022 Items Purchased: Monport 40w ********* *********************************************** 9L *************** Total Amount Paid: $656.99 On 12/5/2022 I received email notification that both the laser and chiller were being shipped and a ***** tracking number was provided. Then, several hours later, I received an email stating that the laser was being shipped but the chiller was delayed and would ship in 1-2 weeks.I inquired about the delay for the chiller and was told it was delayed due to a power outage at the factory. In a response to a followup question I was told then told the delay was due to a force majeure factor at the factory but they would resolve it soon.On 12/10/2022 ***** delivered the laser only, no chiller. However, I received an email from Monport stating that both the laser and chiller had been delivered.I unpacked the laser and found there was significant damage to the top rear left corner of the machine. There was no corresponding damage to the exterior shipping boxes or to the interior foam packing around the machine, indicating that the laser was packed and shipped in the damaged condition. I notified Monport of the damage and provided multiple pictures showing the condition. After several rounds of negotiation Monport agreed to provide a return shipping label and a partial refund of 10%. They also said they would ship a new replacement laser as soon as the damaged laser was received at their warehouse.The damaged laser was delivered to Monport by ***** on 12/20/2022. On 12/23/2022. I asked Monport when the new laser would be shipped. They said that, for various reasons, they would not ship the new laser until after the holidays. They had also told me that it would be at least a month before the chiller would be shipped.I told them to cancel the entire order and provide a full refund. They refunded $179 for the chiller and several days later, a partial refund of $150. They still owe me $265.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    The company finally issued the full refund after the complaint was filed with the BBB.
