      This union is a scam. I have been trying to get access to my account since joining in October. Nobody answers the phone and it takes an entire month for response via email. I cannot access any of my benefits and have told them via email. After several attempts I finally requested the information for where I need to go to remove myself from the union. They refuse to provide me with this information. I want my money back for each payment made. Ive never been able to use the benefit I have paid for. In only I few months they have stolen $500 of my hard earned money for nothing. Absolutely do not provide the service they advertise.

      Hello-

      ****************** contacted SEIU 775s member resource center in August 2023 where we assisted her with her request for information and other matters. We are unaware of any other matter she is currently seeking Union assistance with at this time. She may call our ********************** at ************** if she needs additional assistance with something. ****************** is not required to join or financially support SEIU 775 and we will be stopping any further dues deductions from her paycheck. She will receive a separate letter about that and her request for a refund.

      I will not agree to the terms until I see that I am removed from the union, and when I receive a refund for the entirety of  payments taken. I received no assistance and made myself very clear they were  no longer allowed my earnings.

      This person is not accurate regarding me not contacting them. I have several emails with them claiming they could not help me and that I wasnt verifying my information correctly, which is false. I cannot spend 8 hours waiting on their service line as my patient requires 100% attention.

      I will not spend my days off work sitting on a phone waiting for help that I have paid for. I am not the only person with this problem, and it is very apparent after viewing ****** reviews.

      Either they remove my membership and refund my money, or I will be following through with the complaint. 

      I will reach out with final decision once I receive this letter they claim to have sent granted it fulfills my request.

      I have NOT received any refund; nor have I received the letter that they claim to have sent. 

      The complaint will remain until they issue a refund and discontinue charging me  union fees. They have a track record of not being truthful, so the complaint will remain unless the request are fulfilled.

      I received a letter in the mail from SEIU on February 20, ****. This letter was dated February 8, ****. Obvious tactic to make certain I could not process the complaint within the 7 day period. They are local, it does not take 12 days to mail a letter.

       

      They did not address the refund that I have requested dating back to when I began inquiring on information to be removed from the union. Not one word regarding my refund.  

       

      They stated that they will tell **** to take me off the union. They stated they could possibly take my dues on my next check, due to the payroll.  

       

      That is absolutely unsatisfactory. It is very clear they do not have consent to process any payment, and have not for months.

       

      They provided me the main number, which is the same number Ive tried to call since October. They will not answer unless on hold for hours. I have to work and raise children, I will not wait hours on a line to speak with unprofessional, uneducated people, who quite frankly are NEVER prepared to resolve any issues if they do answer. 

       

      They included a portion in this letter pressuring me to rejoin this circus of a union. It is obvious they will not take no for an answer without a fight.

       

      Please continue to process this complaint, or let me know if I need to file a new complaint. Upon reading reviews I see that I am not the only person they have done this to. 

       

      To be clear; I will be following up with the Attorney General in order to have this organizations practice investigated if I do not receive a refund in my bank account dating back to October 2023 by March 1, ****. 

       

      Your contract became void the day you began ignoring my attempts to be removed. It should never take 5 months and a report to BBB to receive assistance from a paid union. A ***** letter stating, Oh, Ill try to make them stop taking your money, is NOT an acceptable resolution. They can either refund my money, or I will pursue this further. Inline image

      Im not sure if you can add this to the report, but they did in fact charge me again for union dues on my current check. The issue is not resolved by any means.
