    I just moved to this country and have not been to any hospitals but I received this bill which looks fraudulent. I am asking for an explanation of charges which is my right and also for them to contact my insurance company (Cigna), which is required by law.

    I am writing on behalf of Summit Consulting for Post Acute Care LLC in response to the complaint filed by ********************* and  *************************, as referenced in your letter dated August 1st, 2024.

    Upon reviewing the complaint and conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, we found that the complaint relates to the hospitalization of ****** ******************* at South ************************** I personally requested the records of Alyshas hospitalization at ******************************* and confirmed that, per the hospitals records ****** was admitted to ******************************* in May 2024. During her admission,Summit Consulting for Post Acute Care LLC provided necessary medical services,including a comprehensive history and physical examination, which is a standard and mandatory part of the admission process to inpatient behavioral and psychiatric hospitals on May 11th, 2024.

    I personally spoke with *************************, ******* stepfather, who filed the complaint. Initially, he was unaware of ******'s admission to *******************************. Upon learning of her hospitalization and confirming it with ******, ********** acknowledged that the charges were for services provided by Summit Consulting, which were necessary and appropriate. After clarifying the misunderstanding, ********** stated that,based on this understanding, he would dismiss his complaint against Summit Consulting.

    The charges for the services rendered were billed to ****** as her insurance deferred the total amount to the patients deductible. We believe that the billing was accurate and in compliance with applicable regulations.

    Given ************** statement that he intends to dismiss his complaint, we hope that this matter can be resolved promptly. However, should any additional information or documentation be required, we are more than willing to cooperate and provide further details.
