    work order #: ***** amount in dispute: $659.50 transaction date: Oct-10th-2022 I have sewer water backing up to a ground floor toilet, scheduled unclogging service with Jafco, explained the scope of work to the 1st technician(**************): unclog the main sewer pipe between septic and ground floor toilet. They attempted to clear blockage and told me that the pipe is all good after the unclogging work, charged me $659.50 although I didn't sign to accept their invoice. However there is still water in the pipe, due to a blocked baffle. Then the 2nd technician(*********************************) came onsite and told me that the root cause is that the baffle is broken, unclogging service itself won't resolve the issue. They gave me a second quote to dig out the pipe and fix the baffle, which will cost $4,500 in total. I started to feel alerted at this moment and told them that I need time to think about this.2 days later, the backing up problem appears again, I called another service provider to check, who told me that the baffle itself is not the problem and Jafco doesn't clean up the clog inside the baffle at all. So now the fraudulent schema is very clear: step 1. they didn't solve the clogging issue; step 2. they try rip me off by claiming issues doesn't exist and ask for 10 times more money than what it will actually cost.
