    Didn't perform the service paid for wont come back till the following week leaving me with a full dumpster. Made contact and wasn't handled. Reviews show many of my same complaint. Something needs to be done about this business.

    ******** called 1/17/25 to ***ort a missed pick up with his 35-gallon garbage container 1/16/25. The customer service *** automatically offered to take the equivalent amount of extras on his next scheduled pick up 1/23/25 at no additional charge in order to notify the driver of the ***orted miss to avoid the issue in the future. ******** then stated that was too long to wait as there is wildlife in the area. The *** then offered to service the container on Tuesday, 1/21/25 at no additional charge. ******** then stated to do what we needed to do in order to get his garbage container emptied and ended the phone call. The customer service *** called him back to verify if he wanted us to empty the garbage container on Tuesday (as this would require the dispatch of a special truck) or to take the extra material on 1/23/25. ******** did not answer or call us back. Due to no response from ******** on his preferred solution the customer service *** then arranged for the driver to collect equivalent extras on 1/23/25 at no additional charge. We are sorry we were unable to connect with ******** to provide a more timely and mutually agreeable solution.

    I am rejecting this response because:

     

     They offered to pick up the garbage the fallowing Tuesday, keep in mind that's another 5 days later. We are on a weekly pick up. That's not acceptable when a garbage can is very full, and both cans at ************* were full and not taken. Both parties at this address which is 2 cans are Disabled. Just to get this service and have it picked up in a reasonable spot, I had to fight with them for 2 weeks, to get them to comply with *** ****. We had to pay someone to take the garbage there missed week to the dump, so that animals don't get into the bags that they wanted us to just leave out next to the full cans. To resolve this there needs to be money taken off the bill for a missed service(.) And a 10% on top of that for the hardship it caused in two households. If not done I'm willing to take it a few steps further so that the business has a full understanding that they have a job to do and a contract we agreed to that was signed and dated which was broken. People depend on there service and they have many reviews showing my same complaint and they are not being held responsible. I suggest they comply and resolve this matter it would be in there best interest.

    We will reach out to ******** to discuss a one time courtesy credit for the one pick up in question. Our standard practice if a customer is missed is to collect extra material on the next scheduled pick up at no additional charge to accommodate the miss or have the driver return on a different day if the customer is unable to wait. A monetary credit is not standard. In this situation, ******** never contacted us back to let us know if his container would be out the day we offered to send a driver back therefor the *** automatically requested the driver to take the extra material on his next scheduled pick up. Unfortunately, we were unable to provide a mutually agreeable solution due to ******** not responding to the voicemail we had left after he had ended the phone call. Now that we have confirmed a solution for this one time issue we are happy to provide the credit of $7.63 for the missed pick up 1/16/25. We pride ourselves in providing the best service possible to our valued customers and hope any issues or questions ******** has in the future he will work with our office to solve in a timely manner.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    It cost me more than $7 and some change to have my garbage hauled to the ************ dump. Not only was it my 20gal can but the other larger can at the same address as we have two accounts at this same address. There needs to be a lot more than that for a credit back between the two accounts. There has been two times they have done this but quickly resolved the second one for pick up the next business day due to this BBB complaint. Keep in mind this has happened 2 times in under 3 weeks and it's not acceptable for a business to do this and needs to be corrected and the account needs a better response than $7. I'm done with this back and forth with a company that is just doing the minimum to correct there crummy business. I will not accept there offer I'm taking it to the next step if not corrected through the BBB.
