    Easily the best-run HVAC company in **************. On ******* with over 100 recent reviews most are five stars. Excellent service, fast, reliable equipment installation.

    We requested to have a Sales Representative come and examine our situation to provide a quote for a new heat pump early in the year of 2018. We had a furnace that was working properly. This Salesperson was not very experienced with the **** industry and only provided a quote for a Ductless System. Although we explained there had been a heat pump and furnace with ducting under the house, he seemed only wanting to quote us for a Ducttess System. Not happy with this Sales Representative failure to provide other options such as a quote for a Ducted Heat Pump and Furnace, we called Peninsula Heat to see if there was a more experienced Sales Representative that could come out and properly address the situation. The owner on Peninsula Heat, (***) came out in person to try and salvage the situation. The owner, (***) suggested using the Daikin product. A quote for a Daikin VRV System was sent to us to consider. During ***'s exanimation our home he explained how after many years of experience in the **** Industry he concluded that the Daikin was one of the most reliable products on the market and their VRV System was extremely energy efficient. What the owner, (***) failed to disclose to ** was how this particular ****** VRV version was new and his company had not installed these units thus so far and there was no track record as of yet. ***, conveniently leaving this information out caused ** to have a false expectation of what to expect from this specific VRV model of the Daikin line of heat pumps. Unfortunately, we went forward with the purchase and installation of the Daikin VRV Heat Pump and because of the style of this Daikin equipment we also had to replace the Air Handler, (Furnace) in the garage as well. Had we used another manufacturer than Daikin we would not have had to replace the Air Handled, (Furnace). The installation did not go well, and several things had to be redone to insure future problems would be minimized.

    We hired them to fix a problem with our boiler and they replaced the circuit board. When that did not fix the problem, they replaced the water pump. The problem persisted, so I inspected the old pump and found the impeller to be frozen. I freed it up and the system began working fine again. When they sent me the bill, I paid for the circuit board (even though that did not appear to be the problem), but I did not pay for the faulty water pump they installed, nor did I pay for the installation of the faulty pump. I explained all of this carefully in my note to them, and told them they could come by and pick up the pump, which they said was new but I suspect it was not, and never heard from them again. Subsequently, they blacklisted me and now refuse to work on the system. A few years earlier they sent someone to fix the system and he spent 4 hours at it and I received a bill for around $400 and the system still did not work. They eventually sent a different person and he fixed the system in less than 20 minutes. When I complained, they said it was a learning experience in an unexacting science. I just did not feel it fair that I should pay for their on-the-job training, but paid nonetheless. I'm confident that they are capable of doing good work, but I found my experiences with them to be quite frustrating.
