***** Whithmarsh, owner of Get Nailed Carpentry advertised on ******** Marketplace multiple wood structures, stating that he is building them. July 15 - We contacted him on July ***************************************************************************************************** the post above, but with a transparent polycarbonate roof instead of the wood advertised in the picture.Based on his statement, the project supposed to be built in 2 weeks. His initial estimate was $13,500 for fir or plus another $3,000 if we want cedar. We agreed on cedar. Per his text messages attached, the material supposed to be $8000, representing concrete, logs, lumber, fasteners, roofing and hardware and labor will be $5000. We agreed to pay him $5500 down payment for starting the work and getting the materials which we paid on July 20 via ******, using the Citi credit card for payment. All he did between July 20 and August 2 was to pour 2 concrete pads which werent the same size, and one of them is 1 inch lower than the rest of the pad it connected to, was lower on one side and 1 of the concrete anchors is not up at 90 degrees from the bottom. On july 15 The materials delivered are not looking as advertised and the work was done in an unsafe mode exposing us to accidents or death. The posts for the structure suppose to be anchored in concrete with some steel bolts and epoxy and instead of epoxy he put tile silicone. On top of the work not being done correctly, when he delivered the materials damaged planters and stepping stones in my backyard which will cost another $1000-1500 to replace. We tried to contact him numerous times and he stopped responding on the phone and ******** messenger. I have filed 2 disputes with my credit card and I got $3500 back and I want the rest of the money $5500 back and the contractor to come and pick up his materials
