    Joined at this location on a month-to-month contract in 2018-paid every month with auto withdrawal. On January 2 2024 my husband and I went into the gym to cancel the membership and completed cancellation paperwork. Was told the gym membership would be canceled at the end of the month. On February 1st 2024 we were charged a full membership fee again. Went to this location and was told by the owners there was not a full 30 days from date of cancellation and we would have to pay for February as well. (never once did the owner mention this in January). Reluctantly paid full membership for February. March 1st 2024- our bank account was charged another full gym membership fee. Contacted the owners of the location and was told our membership transferred to the Spokane Ponderosa gym (a neighboring gym which we only used part of the time which was not where we signed up). Was told that our cancellation paperwork was lost and the owners were not able to access our membership any longer because the membership moved to a different snap fitness gym Owners told us repeatedly they could not help or refund any money despite the fact we canceled in January. Was told to contact the gym that we didnt even use for assistance. Was also told that somehow our gym membership transferred locations on January 23rd - which is impossible since we had already canceled the memberships. At no time when we canceled in January did the owner mention they had no access to our account and that the account move locations. This was also not mentioned in February when we raised the first dispute. To date we have already paid $140 that should NEVER have been charged and are being told our only option is to cancel our debit cards because they will continue to charge us due to lost paperwork

    A second location (ponderosa snap in Spokane valley) told us this has been a common occurrence with the Argonne gym. Said this has happened so often they were embarrassed by the other gym and refunded February and March payments. The resolution was very difficult and only at the expense of another UNRELATED gym. To date we have not heard from Argonne gym owners. No return calls. 

    we have also spoken to another member who said he has the same issue. 

    this problem is resolved in the sense we got the deserved refund but there has been no resolution from the gym and no accountability

    Looking in Ponderosa Village Club in Spokane Valley I can confirm that ***** was charged on Feb 1st and March 1st to the account ****************************** 7752723 but it does appear that they have since been refunded and cancelled.
