      A to z rented me an unsafe *******************,The straps were frayed and the wrong straps for the trailer.(picture included).There was no secondary safety chain,( picture included) to hook to the car being towed, in case the straps failed. The car fell off the back of the tow dolly on the highway because the straps were frayed and they broke. If there was a safety chain this could have been prevented. Luckily I had a strap of my own, that I cut in half to re-secure the vehicle to the dolly.I have rented tow Dollies from this company in the past ( at a different location) and everything was in good working order.Bottom line is they rented me an unsafe ******************* I could have caused an accident when the car fell off the back of the ****** on the highway. I refuse to pay the invoice.

      Please accept our sincerest apologies if you received a ******************* that was not up to proper standards.  The issue has been addressed with the mechanics and service crew at The ******* location.  They are inspecting all the tow dollies at that location. We also sending an inspection order to every location to have all tow dollies double checked. 

      It is our standards to have all rental equipment kept in a safe and proper operating condition.  

      You were not charged for this rental and I hope you will give us the chance to earn your business in the future.

      Went here to rent a tow dolly to move my vw rabbit from one house to mine and everything went fine after unloading and returning the tow dolly I heard a big THUD and thought something came unhooked and when I pulled over the entire fender and frame bracket was missing??!! I made a U-turn and saw a huge section of metal with the plastic fender and taillight sitting in the middle of the road, lucky for me I was driving in a residential neighborhood it didn't hit anyone or If I took the highway back to the store. When I got to the rental place to return this thing I told them what happened and the clerk offered a refund of the rental fee, I declined since I did use it to move my rabbit and was just glad I didn't cause a wreck or get a ticket, clerk closed out my ticket and handed me a receipt and I went on my way and a yard guy unhooked the dolly, I showed him what happened and looking closer you could see why it fell off, cracks all over the side and from the looks of the corrosion it had been there for a long time...I didn't insert my opinion here since it was over and handed him the part I picked up off the roadway and went on my way.... about 3 hours later I received a call from someone saying they where the manager asking me what I had done to their tow dolly ??!! I told him what had happened and that I hadn't damaged it and that I had photos of old stress cracks in the frame, he said bring them down and we'll go from there... ok? I go back to the location and show him where it had obviously been broken for along time and why would this get rented to a customer like this, he said that there was enough metal there left and I had to of done something to it to cause it to break and that I was going to pay for it, I said i'm not paying for anything and he continued to accuse me of negligence on the tow dolly.
