      I keep the remaining stuff from my divorce house here on property. I pay them about $170 a month to keep my belongings secure. We had a phone call last Sunday from the facility that we had been burglarized and our units company provided lock had been cut. As far as we can see we're missing at least $2,000 worth of stuff. This storage facility is not going to do anything to help us reclaim some of our loss. I asked for my money back for the last 4 months since they could not keep our stuff secure and I was told no. I don't know how a storage facility can say they are keeping our stuff secure when we got ripped off. I feel so violated by this company. I feel like it is an inside job. They will not provide camera footage of this incident happening even though they have it. I'm getting a run around from the police department. I feel like they are too busy to help me nor do they care. I'm going to be getting my stuff out of there facility but I just wish that something could happen that could reclaim the last 4 months of my payments or help us with the loss of our stuff. It's false advertising to say secure it when they don't take care of your stuff. Thank you for listening! ******************************* and *********************

      Hi ************************* are equally as frustrating for us as they are for you and we are so sorry your unit was broken into. We do everything in our power to provide a secure storage facility, including providing locks, having secure key-code entry with limited hour access in addition to the well-lit premises and security system. Unfortunately, sometimes thieves still strike. While we understand your frustration, the contract you signed upon taking possession of the storage unit clearly outlines that "all personal property in the storage unit is stored at the risk of the Occupant.... owner does not agree to provide protection for the self-storage facility, storage unit or the contents thereof."       Hello,

      This is the first I am seeing something come back from you at the BBB. I see the reply message from someone at another store.  Who is this person?  The owner is **** and where I had my storage facility was in the ************** not up North.  I would like to see a response from someone on Site were my stuff was being stored.  Think of it this way ok.  If you were "paying" every month for something to be stored by a facility that calls them self "Secure IT Storage" wouldn't you think that it was secured?

      I want to know is why can not see the camera footage from this facility showing these people taking my stuff to see what they actually took from me?  Or if I know them...  I feel like this was an inside job and they are covering it up.  I know of one other unit  that was broken into that same day however all that was in there was Chicken Coops.  I am not aware of any other units that had gotten broken into there.  It would be nice to know how many times in the past this has happened because the guy that signed us up said it had never happened before when I questioned the policy of not covering anything that was stolen.  Please reopen this file.  I am not satisfied with there response.  Perhaps.  I need to go to court with them.

      To whom it may concern,

           Sorry for the delayed response this is the first time I received a letter for the BBB and responded to it as soon as possible.  As far as helping recover lost goods we do not cover any personal property being stored, that is listed on our contract and I have attached a copy to this response.  As far as the refund again, it's listed on our contract, and we do not do ***** rent refunds for any reason; a copy of that is attached as well.  We did however reach out to the customers and let them know we did have additional information about the break in and would pass along any information to the authorities directly.  ****** and **** failed to get an officer to respond or request the information from us.  ****** then damaged our door when vacating by kicking it multiple times and bending not only the door but the hardware to secure it, then came into the office and demanded we fix it.
