On 4-8-2021, Water Recovery Services performed the following services for me and my property:They fractured my well with frozen Carbon Dioxide. (Cost was $6000)They reinstalled all of my old rusted pipes. (they were 19 years old). They installed a new well pump. (Cost was $2000)Total cost for services was $8,000.Unfortunately they did not reset the sensitivity on my pump saver module. They did not guarantee any of their services for any length of time.On July 15, 2022 the well pump failed and needed to be replaced--it had only lasted 15 months. (The previous well pump had worked for 19 years.) I suspect that the new pump sensitivity was not set during installation, so it ran continually and then burned the pump out. I called the Pentair Pump manufacturer and I was told that the pump was only warranted for 12 months. I would have to get the replacement remuneration ($2000) from the pump installer which was Water Recovery Services. So I would like the $2000 that I paid for the pump to be refunded to me. ( Not the other fracturing costs that I paid them).Unfortunately WRC is now closed and out of business, so I cannot contact or communicate with them at this time. They have not responded to my e-mails of phone calls. I don't know what other recourse I have?

      Business Response

      Date: 09/28/2022

      Hello,

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you, I wanted to talk to my business partner and employees about this job before I responded.

      1) These emails from you are the first that we have heard about this. We are not out of business as he stated. We have two phone lines that get answered or responded to daily we have not received a call, message, or email from him. We work very hard to ensure all of our customers are happy with our services.

      2) We recommended setting new pipe, but he did not want to spend the money on new pipes, so yes, we re-set his old pipes as requested, but that really has no affect on the function of the pump.

      3) We do guarantee that work that we do if he had contacted us, he would know that. We cannot guarantee the success level of our process, as the results vary dramatically, but our success rate is over 95%, and we were successful with this project we used CO2 to open up his well and it did produce more water than before.

      4) We typically sell other brands of pumps which have a 5 year warranty. I believe he wanted the pentair pump because it matched his original system. He only bought the pump instead of replacing the entire pump system.

      5) Im very curious why he thinks we did not set the pump sensitivity, I doubt that is actually what happened, there are a number of things that could have failed. Its not uncommon to have issues when you replace only the pump, and re-use old components, but that is what he wanted. Had he contacted us, we would have came out and inspected the issue and no cost, and would have worked with him to solve the problem.

There is very little truth to his claim, and I dont see any reason why we would owe him anything. Given that, we still would have worked with him to get him a new pump at cost, or fix his old one, or whatever the actual problem may be. We are friendly people and are very easy to work with. But again, we never heard from him. We have never been closed down or out of business we have a website, are in the phonebooks, on ******* etc. He could have easily contact us.

      Thank you,
