      We have done business with Maverick (the owner of Evergreen Fence) a few different times over the last several years & have always been pleased with his work. We had another project that just involved placing some posts for us. He gave us a quote of $400 and we agreed that he would do the project within the next week or two. He contacted me via text message a couple days later telling me he was in need of money and to see if there was any way we would be willing to pay him up front. Normally, we would NEVER do this for a contractor but because of our past dealings, we decided it would be ok. This took place over six months ago!! He has texted us a few times with excuses and promises but still has not shown up. We messaged him that we just need our $400 back. He apologized and agreed to give us our money but has NOT shown up and has not paid us!! He has now stopped communicating as well.
