    Some of the therapist are great surely, but the way they run the business is terrible. They dropped me as a client via text message. They did it because I mentioned I was looking into applying for disability. I had not applied and even provided them with verification. They were not even professional enough to give me a phone call. Disappointing on so many levels. Potentially damaging to someone going through mental health struggles. Shame on you.

    I'm sorry that you had a poor experience. The process rarely involves text unless other means of communication have failed. We prefer face-to-face communication for such a difficult conversation. Our practice is to refer clients who have applied for disability to an agency that can continue treatment throughout the application and disability acceptance process for two reasons. First and foremost, so that treatment will not be interrupted during what can be a difficult process and we are not able to treat clients during this time, since the state requires that only state funded agencies can provide services during this process if the client is on ******** at any point. Second, we want to prevent the client from being responsible for a large bill once the process culminates and all payment for services are retracted by the insurances previously involved. This has happened to a number of our clients in the past and it has been very detrimental to their circumstances. We work hard to assist in the transition process and hope that you will reach out for the additional resources that we offer to clients in this process.
