My vehicle entered the shop 4/3/24 , and returned to me on 4/5/24.I dropped the car off for my "front end to be looked at , the car making noises over bumps, brake check , tune and filters, oil tires and engine light." This is per stated on my invoice. I stated multiple times I only had 1,400$ and to tell me what was priority and then to proceed after we chatted, when we did in fact chat he told me I needed struts and links for the noise over the bumps (my biggest concern) and a new boot for a low power steering pressure line , he also expressed I needed some other things but exceeded the amount I was able to pay, I told him again I only had the 1400 and the others were going to have to wait, he proceeded to do more work on my car then agreed to and stated he did them for "free", however when I picked up my car they stated I had a balance of $311.23 exceeding the agreed upon amount for the work I had not authorized due to not having the funds for them, I have had to return my car multiple times due to a power steering "clip" they fixed causing power steering issues, this clip coming loose and causing a leak then turned into another ******** job, that was done between 9/23/24-9/26/24, I had only returned to this shop due to being led to believe this work would still be under warranty. My biggest issue here is that my car is still making the same noise over bumps and upon further inspection of my car it seems as though my struts were never even replaced witch is why the noise is still there, also the remaining balance for the work I never agreed upon. They never had me sign for consent.

Ms. ***** originally came in on April 5 2024 with concerns of noise over bumps and check engine light was on. We completed our inspection and found the front struts and front sway bar links were worn and needing replaced. We also found a power steering leak from a low pressure power steering hose and her tires were severely worn, and the air intake boot was worn causing and air leak leading the check engine light to come on along with Catalytic Converter codes.  Ms. ***** had indicated that she only had $1500.00 available for said repairs. We modified the pricing the best we could even giving her a discount on the alignment required on the front end work, and did not charge her for a set of tires or the mount and balance of said tires. The invoice came to $1569.94 before tax, shop and haz charges and with sales tax of $141.29 total bill came to $1711.23. This of course was over the $1500.00 Ms. ***** said she currently had and we agreed to let her make payments on the balance after she paid a sum of $1400.00 leaving a balance of $311.23. Ms. ***** has only made one payment of $33.00 on August 9, 2024 leaving her total balance of $278.23. On September 23 2024 Ms. ***** came back in with concerns of power steering noise and check engine light. We found a leak at the power steering shaft seal on the ************* assembly, this is different than the low side power steering line. Again we gave Ms. ***** a discount and did not charge again for the alignment and installed a used assembly to help with the cost of repairs. On 9/23 or 9/24 repairs were approved by Ms. ***** and a third party was called for payment over the phone for a total of $1155.40. Upon completion and pick up of her vehicle Ms. ***** was incredibly annoyed and rather rude to front office staff, and was asked if she would be making a payment towards her $278.23 balance as she had agreed at time of approving latest repairs. She stated that she left her card on file and was informed that we do not do that for the safety of our customers privacy. She stated she did not have funds with her, took her vehicle and left. Later that day she returned upset due to her vehicle leaking again. We noted the issue and even replaced another leaking hose while she waited. She was then brought to her vehicle while it was in the air and show what repairs we had completed and that there were other areas of her vehicle that were leaking oil and needing repair. She thanked the technicians and went on her way. No time during these transactions did she voice concerns of more noise over bumps, no none were noted during test drive after repairs were completed. At this time we are willing to waive the remaining balance of $278.23, but will not be refunding any funds Ms. ***** only personally paid for the repairs in April and the current repairs were paid by a third party. We understand that it is frustrating to have to return multiple time for repairs and that times are tough for many, that is why we tried to help Ms. ***** out in any way we could, by discounting parts and labor and full on waiving the cost of some services.

I got scammed under duress. Dropped truck off my escalade for minor misfire. Worked with ******,although i kept asking for ****, who i worked with for years. ****** said hes on vacation. ****** called, told me for 900 dollars for a tune up and ac belt. I said thats riduculous. ****** told me hed call me back. He called back and asked for ****** is ok,i said ok. After another few hours ****** called back and said its ******. He told me the truck wont be running and id have to tow it home. I had drove the truck in this condition for a month with no real issue. At this point i knew there was a scam going on. I said ok under duress. I went to pick my truck up,asked for the parts that were bad. ****** said there in the trash. I said go get them out. He then told me,i dont know where they went. I also asked how a ac belt will fix a misfire, he admitted it wouldnt. So they took my new parts, lost them, plugs and plug wires, and replaced them with lower quality parts. He told me they changed the oil, which was a lie as well. I have pictures to prove this. My truck was also damaged, the door panel being ripped off. I told ****** to have **** call me back since he drove it after repairs and figure out who damaged the door panel. I never got a response from *********They took high quality parts off, lied about the repairs, and overcharged for the low quality parts by 5 times. This is a obvious scam by ******/mechanics pride.**** has the history of my truck which had the old parts and said they worked fine. There is 0 proof of anything they said were bad. I owe 0 considering they damaged my door panel.

**************** brought his **** Cadillac Escalade in for a Check Engine Light and ********** concerns. We found the incorrect spark plug wires and been previously installed. We advised **************** that this what we found and what we recommend. **************** did not like the price of repairs and became very despondent and verbally abusive. He then approved repairs and repairs were completed. At no time was **************** forced or coerced into completing repairs. When he came to pick up his vehicle, he again became verbally abusive to our staff and created a scene in our showroom and other customers were present. He ultimately paid for repairs. Like all of our customers he had the right to decline repairs and pick up his vehicle. His vehicle was not in for a belt, nor did we replace one. The oil change was necessary due to the misfire causing the engine oil to become fuel fouled. Customers do have the right to ask for their old parts back, prior to repairs being completed. We do not require our staff to dig through a 6yrd dumpster to retrieve parts after they have completed a job and moved to another. His vehicle did not come in with any issues to the door panel and left in the same condition that it arrived. We do not tolerate abusive customers and will not be working with **************** again or providing a refund as he approved and paid for said repairs.  We charged him book time to replace the spark plugs. Alldata calls for 1.5 hours to replace the spark plugs and we charges him the 1.5 hours at our current labor rate for the spark plugs and spark plug wires, no more no less. Again, **************** had the right and choice to decline repairs and pick up his vehicle.

There was no oil change completed.  The parts were stolen, and my truck was damaged.  Whether or not ******,and his crews feelings were hurt is irrelevant.  I have video, and picture evidence to prove there was damage to my vehicle,as well as the oil not being changed, and the parts that were marked up 200%.  Stealing the parts off my truck is theft.  If the owner is this serious about defending theft, property damage, and retaliation because of"verbal abuse" ,the ******************* AG shall will be informed.
