      I was a new client who opened a new account a few weeks back, transferred $50 (the min for the new account), then my account was closed due to "suspcious activity" and I told (with no explanation) I could not open a new one.Since when is transferring my money - one of the main functions of a bank account - suspicious activity that would get me banned as a customer without explanation? I was never contacted beforehand to discuss the transaction (which was to another major *******, hardly suspicious). Clearly discriminatory practice.

      After reviewing the complainants feedback, the Bank investigated and found that services were denied due to potentially suspicious activity during the online account opening and funding process. This was communicated via letter on 4/21 and a phone call on 4/25. The **** acted within its rights to prevent potential fraud. No discrimination occurred, as online applications are processed electronically without face-to-face interaction or reliance on personal identifiers like photo ID or surname. We apologize that the complainant is not satisfied with this position.

      In the 4/21 letter and 4/25 phone call the business refused to give any clarification on the issue, just vaguely waving around the word "suspicious" as they are doing now. They also denied me any chance to review and appeal the issue in a good faith effort to determine if their decision was in any way inaccurate. What ethical business would not work with the customer to validate a decision like this?Since the business refuses to give any additional information, we must unfortunately assume that I was targeted after one of my in person visits to their branch offices.

      This bank discriminates against the disabled.I would not refer any family, friends, business associates and partners The representative I worked with this week was arrogant, slow, repetitive, treated me like I was beneath him.Due to this experience I will refer my many associates and friends to a better Bank,******** ****.

      I am the roommate of a WT account holder. Today is day 88 of 90 the "IT CAN TAKE UP TO 90 DAYS"? WELL ON JAN 19 2023 WE HAD BEEN PAYING ON A **** PACKAGE ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT WITH TICKETS TO 3 DAYS OF A COMEDY FESTIVAL. OH IT WAS IN THE ******************. WELL, FORM THE MINUTE WE LADDED WE KNOW THIS WASNT GOING TO END WELL? SO, WE REAL FAST FOUND OUT WE HAD BEEN GOT. WE HAD NO ROOM NOT CONCERT TICKETS NOTHING WITH NO NOTICE? MY ROOMMATE **** THAT MOMENT CALL WT TO START THE REFUND. At that time there was LOTS of ppl with the same problem? THEY ALL GOT A 700$ Provisional credit. NOT WT AS I SAY WE ARE AT DAY 88? IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FAIR AND FOR THE COUSTOMER, DONT USE WASHINGTON TRUST THEY ARE ALL ABOUT YOUR MONEY UNTIL THEY GOTTA GIVE IT BACK SMH BAD BUISNESS

      IN ******** TRUIST BANK SYSTEMS BOUGHT OUT BB&T SORRY TOTALLY S**** *** ONE AFTER ANOTHER CONSTANTLY FLAG MY DEBIT CARD,TAKE RIGHT ADDRESS OFF MY DRIVER LICENSE AND STILL GOT THE OLD ADDRESS WRONG NOT ONCE BUT THREE TIMES . AUTOMATIC ANSWERING SYSTEMS SORRY CANT EVEN GET A BALANCE GIVE IT ALL THE **** AND IT STILL GOES TO A PERSON USELESS C*** A MONTH WAIT ON MY ORIGINAL CARD STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED YET CONSTANTLY KEEP S******* UP TOTALLY SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS A BALANCE STILL DONT EVEN DO THAT RIGHT AUTOMATED C*** USELESS
