They dont judge, ONLY when you lose your insurance! Then they judge! Ive been with ideal options for almost 10 years as an exemplary patient never once missing my monthly appointment!! Ive estimated they have collected over $20,000 for my monthly 15 second computer Telehealth visits over the span of ten years!! Well, I just recently lost my health insurance so I called their lengthy ***** number and finally after reaching the 5th person I just chose a random number off their automated voice line and finally got to the options for billing and financial assistance. Well the term financial assistance implies there could be a program to help with the financial burdens of keeping access to your life saving medication. Well turns out they offer a monthly subscription of $150 not including the other $75 for the actual medication, which is so far from the term used as financial assistance! Its a blatant lie to even offer financial assistance as an option! The second you cant pay when they want it they wont even work with you at all and its literally SAYONARA! You are no longer of any benefit to us financially so youll have to withdraw and hope to find care somewhere else! Just another legalized street dealer holding potentially fatal withdrawals over your head in order to get their money from you!!! They hide behind the idea their priority is saving lives when their sole motive is to rake in the billions! If you can access your medication through a provider or health facility do it that way and if you absolutely have to deal with this company then Id advise you find an alternate physician when ever you have the chance! They absolutely do not care about you only the amount of money they can get from you when they want it!

Theres a MAJOR DISCONNECT between the pharmacies and the provider. Patients shouldnt have to be the ones to make phone calls back and forth either just to straighten things out. Thats on YOU!

I had been seeing the ****************** branch for about 6 months and was about to start alcohol treatment. However they had me arrested for a *** sneaky style...had a cop waiting for me when I left...and after I got out of jail not only do I have to deal with the *** but also they said they won't help me anymore with suboxone because my issues were to complicated. They were not that complicated the previous 6 months and had been a lot worse in the beginning. They sent me away even though I was begging for help and didn't care about what happen to me or if I got sick or went back to drugs.... I am now 2 weeks later not drinking at all no thanks to them. They are a joke and should not be advertising that they help people. They get you stuck on a medication and give you hope and then tell you never mind basically. It's sad and not moral. I don't know how these "doctors" can sleep at night capitalizing on others pain dangling hope like a carrot.

Ideal option staff members abuse their power on a daily basis. This clinic needs to be investigated for medical malpractice, overprescribing, and verbal/emotional abuse towards their patients due to their status as 'recovering addicts'. Some staff is not this way, however, they're very far and few between. This organization disguises its true intentions and desires to control, manipulate, and abuse an already extremely vulnerable population that depends on them to maintain their sobriety and sanity in most cases. The staff knows this, and chooses to use it as a power play on a regular basis. I am so exhausted from being abused by them.

Ideal Option would have damaged my life if I didnt have more medical knowledge than the provider I saw. She did not know that I have a medical degree. That was none of her business. Thats not why I was there. What she proposed for my treatment was absolutely preposterous, and would have gotten me addicted to benzos over the course of several months. It was a money grab to keep me coming back to that office multiple times a week for months. She was also extremely unprofessional in other ways, divulging personal details about her marriage within minutes of meeting me. She was participating in a Teams chat about another patient, which I was easily able to read, during our interview as well. So many other things went wrong with the case manager violating Hippa Walking through that door was a mistake. I encourage others not to make it themselves. There are plenty of places that truly want to help. I feel for those in desperate situations who dont have the medical knowledge to see what is happening.

I would not recommend Ideal Option for alcohol use disorder. You will be treated medically, but not comprehensively. For example, Ideal will help you with alcohol withdrawal and prescribe medication to reduce alcohol cravings, but if you are addicted, one needs therapy and group support to make a lifelong commitment to abstinence. My clinician, a nurse practitioner, stated she was not very familiar with alcohol dependence. Most of my visits entailed answering questions from a questionnaire and listening to my counselors own problems. This clinic was very reluctant to give counseling referrals and had limited knowledge that AA meetings were aboard all cruise ships. I cannot say anything bad, but it is not a comprehensive treatment facility. One should not expect it to be, and there prices are on the high side.

I wish I could add pic of how filthy the office was. And everything is so outdated. And even though they claim to be in network for my insurance ( ******** Humana they charged me $190 for first visit. Which after contacting ******** and the attorney generals office I found I shouldnt have paid. They have one tablet for all patients to do their intake/check in on and no stylus and no sanitizing between each patient typing on it. They handed me a thermometer I said whats this lol she said put it in your mouth. You dont see a Dr or nurse practitioner in person. Your appointment is done online in a room. I could have done that from home. They do not have an available line for incoming calls to the ********** office. No matter which option you choose you will get a call center in ****************. I had concerns about interactions between the 5 meds and my current meds and no one has returned my call from yesterday as of yet. I called my primary care and was advised not to take one of those meds. No one in the office could tell me how much an appointment would be if I was self pay. I go to a much nicer facility when Im in florida and self pay is $170 a month. Whereas I paid $190 at idea options with insurance and Im expected to return in 5 days and pay $40 co pay. And then biweekly thereafter. Smh. I already have a treatment plan while Im in florida I go monthly and I get one script and it works. Yet here I went to pharmacy and to my surprise I had 5 scripts to pay for. Needless to say I wont be returning to idea options and I am in the process of filing complaints with ******** and the attorney generals office. I was rushed through about 25 pages of paperwork on their one tablet because there were patients needing to use it to check in. The tablet kept jumping pages on me and I told the receptionist I felt it was skipping pages and she said dont worry about it just finish from where you are. Dont know what I signed. Not enough room here to put everythi

I have been a client of Ideal Option for a year now, and I have many issues and concerns relating to the business practices that they conduct. First of all, for the most part, they have been a positive experience for me with regards to my struggle with opioid addiction. So, I hope the negative feedback that I offer does not reflect on the positive aspects of this company, but hopefully they use this feedback to help improve on their quality for the future.I have now stopped using Ideal Option and I am using a new addiction treatment clinic that is more professional and more patient focussed. One negative aspect of Ideal Option is the wait time to see an actual provider. When I have an appointment at 10 am I am consistently waiting in a room in front of a computer screen for sometimes up to or longer than 30 minutes. I understand that sometimes the providers *** have other patients that *** have appointments that get over extended but waiting 45 minutes is not acceptable on a consistent basis.Another issue I encountered on many occasions was setting up appointments and when I arrived at my appointment no one was in the office (locked and closed), and no one had informed me that my appointment was cancelled. This has happened at least 5 times since being a patient of Ideal Option. I understand that things happen in life such as weather/traffic/illness which would make the clinic not open, however, not letting the patient know with a phone call or text seems very unprofessional. This is unacceptable and a total waste of my time when I have to drive over 25 minutes for the appointment. I understand if this happens once or even twice, but at least 4-5 times in less than a year is unacceptable.Another issue I have encountered at least 10 times is that if I have an appointment on a Friday at 10 am and the provider sends the script for Suboxone to the pharmacy, they have forgotten to send it and I have waited days until waiting to get it filled. Not good!

Ideal Options is 99% scam. Every single time I had an appt, I waited for hours. Even if I was the first appt of the day. The "dr" would vent about her life, kids, money woes. I never once saw a UA processed nor told the results. After getting an insurance statement I realized they were billing my ins over $1000 per appt. For what???? They also billed $1010 for a blood draw that I never saw the results of, done on a nasty unsanitized counter. Now nearly a year after I found a MUCH better option (Bicycle Health) I get a random collection of fees Ideal Option wants me to pay. What a scam! It unnerves me that this "company" has private information about me. I'm shocked there isn't a class action lawsuit happening YET. I'm sure it's coming. I would give zero stars if that were an option.
