    A little over a year ago, a bird flew into my window on Labor Day weekend and broke the interior pane. Five Mile Glass replaced the window, and the owner reported not having the materials to complete the project. The window was tapped in, and he never returned to finish the work. I admit, I forgot that he needed to return and finish the job. The last weekend of August, the window fell out onto the roof and did not break. I called Five Mile Glass, and the owner came out and said there was a scratch in the window and it would need to be reordered. He said there would be no charge to fix it. With the weather cooling down and the possibility of rain, I am concerned that the job will never get done. For over a month, I've called seven times and spoken to someone at the shop or the owner, and I continue to wait for a response, text, or phone call. The only information I have is the window has been ordered and that the window was expected on 9/12/22. I would go somewhere else, but that would cost me something I already paid $395.18 to complete. I want the window replaced and installed correctly or my money back to get it replaced before the cold weather sets in.
