    The reason why I am emailing you is because my fianc is in a supportive living program and she has a guardian through this guardianship agency and I feel that they are taking money from her because she is only getting $30 a month the math doesnt add up. Her guardians name is ********************* and I would like her to be looked at and gone through the books to figure out why my fianc why she cant do anything with me we cant go anywhere. My fiancs mother said that her line of sight Ive been watched was only supposed to be temporary guardian is refusing to change it and theres stuff going on here that is not right can you please look in to it.

    In response to complaint #********:

     

    Safe Haven Guardianship Agency is the full guardian of person and conservator for ******************. ****************** receives Social Security income and is in a supportive living home provided in part by ***. The way Supportive Living works is that the client (******************) must pay her portion of the rent, utilities, supplies for the home, food and miscellaneous items from her social security income. Safe Haven receives the bills from the supportive living home and we pay them out of her guardianship account. 

    These accounts are audited annually by two different agencies. One is The ***************************** (including the Guardian Monitoring Program) and the second is the ******************************* Additionally, ********************** guardianship account is insured privately and protected with additional security measures by ********************** Both of these agencies and the bank provide auditing to ensure that financial exploitation is not possible. 

    The accusations made in this complaint are unsubstantiated and come without evidence as to the exploitation or "theft". ****************** has access to her account information at any time she requests and also receives a copy of her annual accounting and reporting that is provided to The *****************************. 

    As far as the "line of sight" issue, I am unclear as to why this is brought ** in this complaint. Safe Haven Guardianship does not make this designation. ****************** is assessed annually by the ********** of *************************************** and they determine her level of care. If the complainant believes that her level of care is inaccurate then that is an issue for the *** and DSHS to address. 

    It is my hope that this response is thorough and helpful as the complaint is reviewed. Please contact our office with any further questions.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is understandable except for the fact that I have been with ****************** for 3 years now so needing proof should be dismissed do to the fact that I have been with her for so long. I would like to marry ****************** but get told to wait three years and that Ms. ********************* would go to the court and get ****************** her right to marry back, well it has been over 3 years and this has never happened. So I am unclear as to why. And furthermore ************** refused to talk to me at all to look into this all ************** did was hang up on me. So why hasnt this been taken care of?
