    On or about August 9th, 2022 I contracted Rainman to install new rain gutters on a new roof with new fascia. The work was done during a very dry period in ******* consequently there was no way of knowing how well the new rain gutters were working. During the first rainfall in November (which quickly turned to snow) I observed water leaking from a junction where the new gutter was butted up against some vinyl siding. Water was leaking at this joint and then traveling forward along some vinyl trim to the front of the house. This resulted in water dripping from two locations. This scenario had never occurred prior to the installation of the rain gutters. The dripping water has caused my new fascia to sustain water damage. I asked them to come out and take a look and they claimed it was due to weather extremes. They came out some months later when the snow, ice and water had abated. After visually examining the area they claimed that the water is getting into the trim on my vinyl siding and that is what is causing the leak. There was never a problem with this before.I am a 100% disabled veteran and recently had lung cancer surgery so I am unable to climb up on the roof and document anything or try to prove the source of the water. Rainman came out once again on a dry day and reaffirmed their conclusion that water was simply getting into the vinyl siding. The only water source I can find at this time is that which rests in the rain gutter itself. I suggested they try a food coloring test in the gutter to prove that gutter was not leaking. They suggested instead that I should have some flashing installed by a roofer to solve the problem. I believe there has not be a real good effort to diagnose the problem.

    I am rejecting this response because: The business did come out as stated. They eventually acknowledged that there was a leak in the rain gutter and stated they repaired it. They also offered that something was wrong with my siding that was causing the problem. This problem never occurred prior to the installation of the leaking rain gutter. I am not able to accept this resolution until such time as weather occurs to prove the repair was successful.
