      Member ID: ********* Total Among Due: $392 I set up a month-to-month membership with this facility under the terms I would be able to cancel at anytime. The membership started in August of 2023. My children attend this facility no more than 5 times in the month of ******************* Not only was I charged a month membership, only attending the facility a handful of times, I was charged a maintenance fee of $30 per person (6 family members), the following month after the start of my membership. I assumed by stopping payment this would automatically cancel the contract as I was set up on a month to month. However, a few months ago I received an email regarding a past due balance. I immediately called and spoke with a gentleman who assured me he would cancel my membership even though he did state that normally they do require an in person cancellation but that under the circumstances he would cancel the membership immediately. He also stated that I would still owe the balance which at the time was around $160 (I do apologize as I do not know the exact amount he reference). As you could imagine I was extremely upset being that my children only used the facility no more than 5 times and I have already been charged around $350, again, only using the facility no more than 5 times. This is truly unacceptable. Im not asking for a refund of the times I was charged for not using the facility but in no way should I owe a balance and my membership still be active. Again, my children only used the facility less than a week. I should not owe $392 and the membership should have been cancelled after the month of November. Please understand I am not asking for a refund, I am simply asking for the membership to be canceled as no one from my family used the facilities after the month of September in 2023.
