7/9/2024. New name of business Anti-Aging Northwest. Met with naturopathic physician **** ****** re bio-identical hormone refill request with current labs. She renewed scripts, with a followup in 6 months ( 1/15), told her I had pain in lower right abdominal region, which she said put castor oil wrap. All occurred within 20 minutes and I left.I attempted to reach out to office and *** Nickel a short time later, to complete a form that I could give to my insurance carrier, to help offset the costs of the hormone creams. I knew the office did not BILL insurance, but thought a few minutes filling out a form for me, was not too much to ask, since I paid out of pocket $200 for a very short visit. I was never responded to, reaching out to both naturopathic physicians as well as front desk gal. Finally, after asking for a super bill of the visit, which is legally obligated, the front desk gal said oops, she was pregnant and she guessed she missed my inquiries. She then stated that the office won't assist their clients with the paperwork. I was not asking for insurance billing, just a small note to enable me to get the creams from insurance company. Very difficult to get anyone to communicate at this office.Since the castor oil wrap did not relive the pain, I went to a Nurse Practitioner in a ************* who did a pap exam and sent me to the hospital for a pelvic ultrasound. ************ deficiency was causing uterine lining buildup, cramping, and subsequent uterine bleeding. I was put on a higher dosage of ************ and problem abated.Recently, as Dr. ****** wanted me to come back in to charge another $100 for a hormone check, I told her of my adventures and that I had found a much superior solution, with a provider who charged me $15 for an office visit, happily filled out the forms, and was conscientious in tracking down the problem with my cramping and bleeding, which could have been a serious issue. She responds very promptly.Emailed ******* about this.

Still awaiting refund, so case remains open. I emailed the office there on Friday, 1/24, since have received/ heard nothing and got a reply that it was being "processed." Please leave case open.Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have received and deposited the $200. No note attached. I find that this resolution is ok, however, I do wish to add, that a refund was requested directly from business, initially, with no responseOnly after contacting BBB, did it initiate ANY action. My experience with them has been that of a business model that conducts services in a very cold and impersonal , not thorough, and non caring environment.. I would discourage anyone from utilizing their services.
