      I bought a Whirlpool Washing Machine from this business on 4/18/2025. I told them my brother would be picking it up on 4/19/2025. I gave my brother a copy of my receipt with the Sale No. visible per my salesman's instructions. My brother arrived at my house in the afternoon with a different machine than the one I bought. I checked the pictures I'd taken of the machine I bought to be sure, and there was no doubt the machine my brother had been given was the wrong one. I called Appliance Warehouse immediately. The manager who had sold me the machine spoke with me and was apparently relaying the details of our call to the owner. The manager told me to "just bring it back." I explained that, because they wouldn't deliver to Reardan, my brother had driven from **********, ID to their shop to pick up the machine, but that he is older and unwell and I couldn't "just bring it back." I wouldn't ask my brother to make the 45-minute trip in from ******* to ******* and back again, then drive all the way back to **********. I said that this wasn't our mistake but theirs; they had given him the wrong machine, not the one I bought, despite the fact my brother showed the owner the receipt/sale number and tried to verify he was getting the right machine. The owner repeatedly argued that I would have to exchange the machines myself or pay him a delivery fee. In addition, he wasn't willing to exchange machines for four days. I protested, insisting that I had done what I was instructed to do, that this situation was completely unacceptable and arguing with me about paying for his mistake was inappropriate. I offered to accept a refund of $100 to keep the machine they delivered, but the owner refused, insisting on a $50 delivery fee. At this point I don't trust Appliance Warehouse any further. I don't believe they'll pack or transport my machine with care. I will keep the older machine they gave me for a $100 discount refunded to the credit card I used at purchase.
