      In January, I ordered glasses from Stahl Optical and paid $250 through my flex spending plan. Despite repeated attempts to contact them, I have not received the glasses I paid for. I have left numerous voicemails over the past several months, but Stahl Optical has failed to respond. They accepted my payment but have not fulfilled their obligation or provided any communication regarding my order. I am requesting assistance in resolving this matter and obtaining either my glasses or a full refund.

      In December 2024 visited this bussiness like I have done for many years. My insurance benefits for glasses was set to expire so I went in to get a new glasses. Nothing was said about their business model being . January. Within the first few weeks in January 2025, I went into have a pair of glasses repaired and checked on my order. Still nothing stated they were changing the way they did business. January 14, 2025 They stated on their ******** page they were going mobile. To give them a few weeks to get things switched over. I was patient waited a few weeks called voice box full then I sent an email off with a generated response that things were taking longer than expected. I emailed them 3 times last time being 3/3/25. The response email from them still dated 1/27 with taking longer then expected and still communication on their end. My insurance didnt not pay in full which is normal and I usually settle my bill upon Pick Up. My next step is contacting my insurance company as I feel this is fraudulent. I would just like my glasses that my insurance covered. Their ******** posting is full of people complaining about the same issue and no contact made on Stahls part. I will attach a screenshot of the generated email I received

      11/14/24 I ordered and paid in full for new prescription tri-focal lenses and was told it would be 7-10 business days. On 12/2/24 owner, ******* *******, called and said the lab had sent progressive lenses instead of the tri-focal and that she would send them back to be re-done. I called numerous times between 12/2/24 and the present and was told most of those times that "the mail hasn't come yet today." I was finally told on 12/17 the computer indicated "order ready to ship." As of 12/29/24 when I called the computer indicated they'd been shipped "last week" which would have been a week after I was told they were "ready to be shipped," and that **** was going to the lab to try to figure out what happened to them. On 1/3/25 I called and the voice mail message indicated "this is Thursday, 1/2/25, and we are closed today and tomorrow for inventory." When I called this morning, 1/6/25 at about 7:30 a.m. to leave a message indicating I was still waiting for my glasses a recording immediately came on stating, "The number you are trying to reach is no longer in service." I've contacted the local Crime Check, my credit card company to see about getting my money back and my former medical insurance to let them know they too had possibly been defrauded. I paid $496 out of pocket and the insurance paid $200.00

      The problem has been resolved.  I finally, 9 weeks later, got my new glasses.  At that time I was also informed the business was going out of business and I was not surprised to hear that.  Thank you for any assistance in this matter.
