Had Alpine Patio install a patio cover, the cover collapsed during the first snow. This was not a heavy snow or an unusual or excessive snowfall.

The cover did not collapse.  I met the customer on site at 4:30pm Tuesday afternoon to address concern that was described over the phone.

The interior secondary support posts were bowed due to frost heave from the slab lifting.  There was no damage at all to the cover, it was not collapsed.

I offered to replace the posts with a larger size, which was agreed upon.

I expect a retraction of statement by Mr. Richards.

Alpine Concepts installed an awning at my resort property in Usk Wa. During the first normal snow fall the support posts bowed under the weight of the snow. Rear support post was only 1x1 which was to light for proper support After Alpine Concept's inspected the bowed support post they agreed to replace them with larger post, within two weeks, that was in early March 2025. . After repeated attempts to call, the work has not yet been done. They do not return calls. At this time I would like Alpine Concepts to remove the defective awning and issue an immediate refund so I can have a more reliable company reinstall the awning. if this does not happen, I will file a causal action in Spokane District Court against Alpine Concepts INC DBA as Alpine Patio Home Concepts UBI 602572074. To be served against Registered Agent Thad Schoesler on or about June 16 , 2025. I am now researching their Bond to file a complaint. If you can help in this matter, it would be appreciated

    The cover did not collapse.

Support posts at the attachment point bent due to concrete slab frost heave.
