It was around $2500. PNWRV one male said his name was ****,a **** is a co-owner of PNWRV. During the installation **** was cutting the old fabric and the awning tube hit a ladder that ladder hit my 1977 El Camino.Damaged the stainless steel that covers the bed of the El Camino.PNWRV have refused to pay for these damages also, even though they acknowledge they damaged my El Camino they still refuse to pay the damages of over $500.On the second day I opened the awning and looked it over. It's hard for me to look up after two car accidents and 2 neck fusions.I found three holes and two long scrap marks on this new awning fabric. So I call **** the person I have been dealing with from the beginning.**** has no idea there is a problem and has to speak to his employees. I have to call back to find out they did damage the fabric and will order a replacement.During this time I'm texting **** about how come I had to find these holes and scrap marks? The only thing **** wanted to do is goat me into a argument instead of fixing the problem. This fabric is not the same that came with the awning. It's thinner and has wrinkled and looks cheap/I'm waiting for information IF PNWRV even order the fabric from the awning supplier or is using a much cheaper fabric. After the new fabric was installed I found two screws that connect the awning tube that controls the rolling up of the awning fabric are stripped and are backing out of the holes.I have tried to s**** them back in but like I said they a stripped. I have contacted PNWRV twice now by email and one text to fix the stripped screws before they damage the new fabric. NO response. **** told me when we spoke about holes and ,marks that this was the First Time Using This Awning Company.I believe they knew of the holes and marks. I believe they knew about the stripped screws that hold the awning tube together. I believe they thought because of my disability I wouldn't of found the holes and the stripped screws. They lie and cheated me

Thank you, BBB, for giving us an opportunity to respond. We feel what is stated by **************** is not correct. We did install a new awning system with fabric on May 22nd, 2024. We did have to order a new awning switch because it came from the manufacturer faulty. The manufacturer is a reputably RV retailer that we have used many times. At the time of initial installation there were no tears in the fabric. It wasnt brought to our attention of the awning having a hole until June 21st. Since this did still fall under our parts and labor warranty of 30 days we immediately ordered new material from the same manufacturer to be replaced, at no charge to the customer. This was completed on July 16th after having to reschedule several times. Regarding Mr. ******* El Camino, this issue was addressed at the time of the initial awning system installation. A ladder tipped and landed on top of a pile of trash in the back of the vehicle and did not damage or touch the vehicle. **************** was present at the time of this happening and shrugged the incident off and informed our techs to not worry about it since nothing was harmed. We feel this issue is resolved. We also feel, based on the numerous texts and emails that **************** is highly litigious, and we are unfairly being treated and threatened by ****************. Thank you again for the opportunity to respond.
