Fast track hvac installed a ducted heat pump at my residence the first week of May 2024. In the first week I had them return three times to fix improperly wired thermostat, no heat to 1 room, and low air flow problems. In the first week I noticed two of the rooms in the house to be 5-6 degrees off of the rest of the house. I contacted the owner, **** ******, and he mentioned that he thought he would need to return to address this issue. He returned for the fourth time and says he put a diverter on something and to let him know if that fixerd it. Within a day it was obvious that the problem was not resolved. I reached out to him again several times throughout the summer and got response. During the summer hot months the temperature of the two problem rooms was ***** degrees hotter than the rest of the house with the A/C running. Now mid winter those two rooms are ***** degrees colder than the rest of the house with the heat running. Early December the outdoor heat pump iced over so bad andt the fan had so much ice on it that caused the unit to be so out of balance that it was shaking the house. **** actually showed up to tell me he would need to look at the manual to check for differnt settings and would get back to me. I asked about the temp issues in the house and he scheduled time to fix the ducting in the attic. He rescheduled twice in december, and never showed up on the third scheduled day. I have emailed several times, texted, called, left messages, driven to the storefront and left notes. I have not gotten a response in 6 weeks. I looked in my attic myself and found ducting not connected, over 20 joints improperly sealed, a gap in the ducting 2inch x 12 inch blowing hot air in the attic. multiple uninsulated spots, insulation missing or moved during installation and not replaced. I have contacted other **** companies to repair the work that should be warrantied. I am being told the repairs could be as high as $10,000 to replace the entire ducting.
