      11/6 - Called Legends Roofing *** as they were the roofing company of record with the builder Left message 11/7 - Legends Roofing returned my call and left a message, which I returned and spoke with the front office to schedule an appointment to come see the house.11/8 - A representative of the company that barely spoke English came to my home around 8:30am. I let them borrow my ladder to enter the attic and assess the situation. The worker showed me photos of gaping holes below the anchors on the roof that roofers use when roofing a home for safety. This worker proceeded to 11/8 - I called that afternoon at 3:18pm to ask regarding warranty coverage for the work performed. I was informed that no one had spoken with the technician and they could not provide information until they spoke with them.11/21 - I receive a bill in the mail for $314.93 dated 11/13 11/22 - I call the office first thing in the morning and am instructed that I need to pay this invoice as a repair was performed on my home I was led to believe that this would be covered under warranty by the roofing company of record. Though my home is only 8 years old, and no one has been on top of that roof, I was told that it was not possible that the roofers left my home in the condition that the technician found it. Unfortunately, that is the case.In spite of repeated efforts to call and many messages left, I am no longer receiving contact. I was not bid the work nor given a price quote prior to the work being performed.

      We don't dispute any the dates that ******************** has referenced in his complaint. ******************** referenced gaping holes around the ************ tie off point in his attic. The reason there were gaps around the ************ was because the neoprene flashing that is installed on it at the time of roofing was almost completely deteriorated and missing. He also referenced the roofers using this to tie off, that is not the case. Legends Roofing does not use these tie off points as they are for other subtrades and future homeowners, our roofers use temporary anchors that they take with them when the roof is complete. ******************** was informed that Legends Roofing has a $95/hr. service rate with a 2 hour minimum before we sent anyone out as his home is no longer under warranty. If his builder told him his home was under warranty that is unfortunate but incorrect. The home is over 8 years old and contrary to ************************ belief that nobody had been on his roof since it was completed, that's just not the case. With new construction there are many other trades that get on the roofs after completion as it is necessary to complete the home and they typically will use the roof tie off points like the one in question. Legends Roofing would not have left the tie off flashing in the condition it was in and we believe that it just deteriorated due to UV (see attached pictures). We have told ******************** that we will give him a complimentary inspection but we do expect payment for the initial repair.
