      We want our overpayment of $228.71 refunded. We have tried to call many times since March 2024. The phone message says "we are temporarily closed due to an unforseen outage and are not able to access your account." Two months later, it's the same message.On April 22, 2024 we mailed a request for a refund via priority mail, with tracking. We have not received our refund.There is no way to contact this business. They are stonewalling their customers. Yelp and ****** reviews show the same problem with other customers. Date of Service - October 10, 2023 Provider - *********************** Regence Claim - E63310927301 The original claim processed by Regence showed a patient balance of $228.71 which I paid on 12/11/23 - check #****. It was deposited by Tacoma Anesthesia on 12/14/23.On March 15, 2024 Regence reprocessed the claim under E63310927302 and paid the amount in full with no patient balance due.REFUND OUR MONEY $228.71

      Tacoma Anesthesia Associates apologies for any delays in the processing of your refund.  ******************* has had patient communication closed since February 20, 2024, with the date of recovery in June 2024.  We will take this complaint and escalate to the correct departments to respond directly to the patient about their request.  Again, we apologize for these delays, but will respond when the patient account systems are available.

      We sincerely apologize for the delays our billing process, Change Healthcare, has had the past several months.  There was a Cyber event in February 2024 which, out of precautionary measures, resulted in out systems to be disabled.  We are in the recovery phase and anticipate the refund processing to be available in the next month.  I will contact the provider accounting firm to see if they can process your request ASAP in the meantime.

      I am rejecting this response because: I would like to keep this case open until the refund is actually issued and Tacoma Anethesia has confirmed it. The last time we accepted their response they completely forgot about it. Some of our other providers were affected by the Change Healthcare attack and they recovered and were back to business in a couple of months. This one has been dragging out for many months. We overpaid and it is only right that they refund our money.
