    I have a ******* refrigerator. When the door flap failed. I had an absolutely awful experience with a national company that claimed to employ trained ******* technicians. I knew what was wrong. It was an obvious issue and did not effect the ability of the refrigerator to do it's job. The "technician" showed up and everything went downhill from there. The episode ended when I successfully disputed charges for services that had not been performed and refused to allow one of their technicians in my house. I ended up doing the repair myself. It took me two months and several companies to get the part and I'm never sure of any appliance repair I do. Luckily, it has continued to work properly. Needless to say, I was filled with dread when my ice maker stopped making ice.I was referred to Arctic because they will service ******* appliances. I called them and was informed of standard charges for service and labor and provided with an appointment later in the week. The technician, *******, came within the time window and went right to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He knew the part wasn't in stock at their store but he didn't waste time looking it up on his phone (The technician from the previous company burned up time doing that.}. ******* researched it when he returned to the office and the part was ordered. There were supply delays but the part finally arrived and was installed. I wasn't charged anything until the service was complete. The cost was very reasonable AND we were eligible for a generous military discount. ******* is a real pro. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the part quickly. He made it look easy and I know it's not. I was always able to talk to a knowledgeable representative when I called to inquire about the status of the part. This is a great company.
