  We got bids for a custom homes from many companies and none of them were in our budget. So we started looking into Reality homes. We found a layout we really liked and made a few custom adjustments to it. We really thought this through ahead of time and ended up with 0 change orders and stayed on budget. There was one small price increase in the base price while we were waiting for our permit approvals. **** ***** did a great job project managing for us. We had a bit of an issue with the plumber who ended up getting replaced. But our project manager worked hard to push and get that change so we could get our plumbing finished correctly. We are a remote location so we knew it would take longer but it wasn't too bad. It took a little over a year for them to complete their portion of the build. We had a few punchlist items and they got resolved as quick as they could. We have only been in the house less than a year but hopefully everything in the house will hold up well or be covered by their warranty. I know that in this current financial climate we would not have been able to build this size of a home on a custom build so we are very thankful we were able to get in a home on a budget we could afford.

  We have built two homes through Reality Homes (2015 and 2024). Both homes are solidly built and energy efficient. The synergy within the Reality Homes team is impressive. They worked with us every step of the way from breaking ground through the final inspection and beyond. Communication was outstanding, challenges were quickly resolved, and we always felt part of the process. The contractors Reality hired were exceptional in their trades. ******** *. is a very knowledgeable and conscientious Scheduling Coordinator. ******** consistently kept us updated on progress and immediately notified us of any changes. She is courteous, reliable, patient, and had our best interests at heart. Her communication skills are outstanding, all our questions and concerns were quickly addressed and resolved to our satisfaction. ******** was a pleasure to work with.*** *. is an exceptional Project manager. He is personable and his communication was consistent in person and by phone / email. He completely understands every step of the building process and kept in communication with us, the Reality team, and contractors. He was our advocate and ensured every contractor efficiently completed their jobs. He also kept us informed of our responsibilities so contractors could keep to the schedules. At first, **** *. was our Project Manager, who is also exceptional. Because of *** and **** *., the entire building process went smoother than expected. Any challenges or obstacles were addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

  Our incredible builder and project manager, **, showcased teamwork at its finest! From the initial blueprint to the final touches, every detail was crafted with care and passion. Remarkably, our house was complete 171 days ahead of schedule! Its a testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented team. We couldnt be happier with the results! A reminder a successful home project relies heavily on teamwork, Its not just up to the builders its also on ourselves as a homeowner. Collaboration, communication, and commitment play key roles in transforming a vision into reality.   We began our project during COVID!! That turned into a difficult time for everyone. Prices began to rise with everything. We had two major price increases during the build of our Reality Home. Reality had many changes and realignment of employees from beginning to end of our project. **** ***** was our second project manager. He worked very hard to hold everyone accountable in order to maintain the building time line. However on many occasions a lack of communication between the office and the project manager resulted in added expenses. One of the biggest was the fire suppression system that was on the original paperwork to be installed. During a walk through near the end of our build. I asked the project manager when the fire suppression system would be installed?? After all we had not built a home before and expected Reality would lead us through the process. **** looked at me puzzled with no idea that it was to have a fire suppression system installed. I went to Realitys office to talk to them about it. They confirmed it had been on the paperwork from the beginning but they failed to pass that information on to the project manager. Costing me an additional $5,000 as well as placing the responsibility on us to find someone to remove a section of our completed and painted ceiling for the fire suppression system to be installed and the ceiling to be redone. Not to mention additional time while the project was on hold for this to be done. However even with this issue the home was finished a few weeks ahead of the finale schedule date. We went with Reality Homes because we liked their floor plans but we were not completely satisfied with their lack of ongoing communication to the project manager and our selves or all the price increases from beginning to end of the project.****** and *********** ******

  Where do I start.... we signed a contract with Reality Homes to build a custom home with a daylight basement in May of 2020 and now this is what our "home" looks like in ****. They have put us through more than I can say in a short review, so I'll leave it at this: signing with Reality Homes was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. We were to have a very tall (11'8") basement, and after we discovered they were building it several feet shorter than our plans called for, RH just kept pushing us to let them continue on, rather than fix it. Then when the city inspector FAILED our pre-slab inspection, RH told us they would just bypass the inspector and have their engineer sign off and pour it as is. UNACCEPTABLE! My husband and I are paying a mortgage on a pile of concrete that RH insists "there is nothing wrong with," and we are fighting them in the local circuit court after an arbitration hearing that ended with an award in THEIR favor for nearly 60k. It is almost too wild to be true, but sadly this is all nonfiction. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH HOW MUCH I REGRET WORKING WITH REALITY HOMES. What a nightmare!

  Started our "build" in 2020. House is still not finished. 1 1/2 years after final walk-through and punch list incomplete... Missing our master bath door, outside window trim missing, garage door/frame poorly installed, damaged kitchen cabinet not replaced (replacement has been sitting in ********** for over a year). The list goes on, unanswered phone calls/emails (portal is a joke!), We waited 25 years to build our "dream" home and they leave you hanging....We could go on and on...

  Built in 2008. Have had many issues. Sheetrock cracks everywhere. New furnace and heat pump, gutters fell off house and they were empty. Now need new roof, leaks everywhere, mold, inadequate ventilation. Paid extra for best roof. What a joke. Should have known because the build process what such a pain. Had to inspect every day but someone was always doing something inadequate. This is my forever house and everything has went wrong and have had zero support over the years with fixing issues. Thanks for nothing.

When you built your home you received a homebuyers warranty that would care for defects or issues that *** occur , Although that home warranty *** have already reached its coverage period, some items you mentioned in your review *** fall under a manufacturers warranty, such as your roof. We apologize again the the building process did not meet your expectations, and encourage you to reach out to manufactures for possible warranty information.

  This build is a nightmare! If I could have a do over, I would not even consider this company. Poor communication, wrong information at the start. I have had my footings and pony walls ready for lumber for at least 4 weeks. The extra money was paid to Reality for the lumber extra charge over a month ago. I have heard for 3 weeks now the lumber will be delivered this week. Went to the lumber provider and my project isnt even in their system. Can never get a response back from the construction department. Its all handled in **********. Im in **********, ******. Their poor General Manager comes every week (hes new) and sends them pictures of the same progress(nothing) This week he called and said the lumber was scheduled the next day. NOTHING! Thats when I decided to see what was happening with the lumber company! They have major issues in their construction department. I hope I have my home before I die! Im 70 y/o and do not need this nightmare! Dont cry easily, but they have reduced me to tears, frustration!

  I chose Reality because of the floor plan that fit so well on my property. I think there is a problem with the amount of people managing the builds. Not enough people? It seems planning and common sense are missing. I am very excited about my home and the design team were awesome. Just hoping I don't have to continue to doubt what I am told is happening. I do understand the difficulties of building in the present environment. I still think there was a mistake made in the ordering of my lumber, it was missed and the system failed. When I am asked for the money, it's been mailed immediately. There was no excuse for it to be delayed for a month. If I hadn't filed a complaint with the BBB, I wonder how much longer this would have been delayed.Hoping the future of this build will be more organized and delays not made worse by not being managed well.

  We are currently having our home built by Reality Homes. Currently are very pleased how it's coming together updates through the owners portal have been very helpful, and they have continued to assist with any issues that might or may have arise and I see the results along the way. ****** has been incredible from the moment we signed to throughout the process of us picking out our finishes. A BIG Thank You to her and everyone on the team helping build our home, not house, but Our Home. We never thought this would be possible, but our lender and Reality Homes have made it like they said a REALITY!
