My ******** drivers license and *** Health records, attached herein, confirm my Ozark residency, discounting any *******-related debts.No Communication; Debt Questioned:SOUND PHY E M GREATER MEMPHIS hasnt contacted me regarding the alleged $977 debt. This lack of communication casts doubts on its validity and suggests possible identity theft.Impact of False Reporting:The erroneous debt report has significantly dropped my credit score, impacting my ability to secure loans, housing, and reasonable insurance rates.       I was treated at ********************* **************** on 10/30/2022 and gave my insurance information for my primary and secondary policies to staff when i checked in. The hospital was able to bill for the ** scan and the visit successfully, so it was correct information. In March, 2023, I began receiving bills from Sound Physicians for $1,196.00 as they claimed that my insurance companies denied the claim. When I logged into the patient portal and checked my insurance records, I discovered that they only billed my secondary policy, who denied payment because they failed to bill the primary policy. I verified the information that they have and requested that they bill my primary insurance company. They have failed to do this, even though I've called, written them a letter and continued to "verify" my insurance information in their portal. Yesterday, I received a letter stating that they are going to send me to collections if I don't pay them $555.00 in 10 days. They have STILL not billed my primary insurance policy.Bill my insurance. Bill it properly. Stop harassing me for money that somebody else owes you.

There is no reason why they should be having these problems or stating that they billed my insurance when they never really did.

      I just recieved a text from them regarding a bill and I have never set foot in their emergency room. I don't know who they are. I have not been to an emergency room in over a year. Seems very scammy and unprofessional. I don't know how they even got my number but there better not be some bill show up in my name.

      I noticed a collection report that says I owe this place over $500. Ive never set foot in this place, let alone been in a hospital or seen a doctor in well over 2 years. Nobody answers the phone when I call to try to get more information. It says its a place in *********, ** but I havent been up there in nearly 15 years.

      Sound physicians filed with a collection agency (CMRE) to collect $771 from me for an inpatient stay in the third qtr of 2022. As I stated to Sound, I have complete coverage with ******** and two additional policies. The hospital has all my numbers, I'm not giving them to Sound again.My problem with Sound is the same as every other BBB complaint. It's up to them to process the claim, it seems they are unable or unwilling. I can't help with either.ALL the other bills were covered. I'm not paying a dime to shut them up on a charge that I don't owe.

      I took my Wife to the ** on 11/13/23 for severe pain due to an infection. Someone from Sound Physicians gave me their card and that was the last I heard from them. They did absolutely nothing for us. A couple weeks after my wife was discharged from the hospital, we received two bills from them for a total of $1,320.67. This is a complete scam. No services rendered.

      Went to ER at Canyon Vista Sept 2020. Received bill. Paid in full Dec 2020. Received bill from Sound Physicians in January 2021 (or thereabouts) for around $1700. They did not bill my insurance. I called them, gave them my insurance. Month later, they sent another bill. I called and gave them my insurance a second time. Never heard from them again. Insurance would have paid over 90% of it. 3 years later, a collections agency shows up on my credit report. The alleged debt was sold to a 3rd party. No attempt was made to contact me by any party involved, in violation of the ****** There is no excuse for not billing my insurance, or for putting a derogatory on my credit report.

      I was admitted to the hospital on 3/26/23. I continue to receive a bill from Sound Physician's in the amount of $2,126.00. I have updated my insurance with them several times and they continue to say that my insurance has denied the claim. I contacted my insurance and was told that the claim was never submitted. EVERYTHING else from my stay has been covered 100% from labs to imaging. I don't know what else to do to get them to submit this claim properly. My daughter had a bill with them 2 years ago and it took us over a year to get them to run the insurance correctly. I finally demanded to speak to a manager and they finally addressed it. I'm looking for assistance in getting this addressed correctly. The account number is ****************.       I received a bill from Sound Physicians. I disputed the bill under FDCPA law by written request to Sound Physicians which they ignored and sent 2 more subsequent bills. The 3rd bill threatened further collection activity with claims that I never responded to their first bill. Sound Physicians has not validated the supposed debt as required by FDCPA law and they have threatened to continue collection activity. They are now in violation of FDCPA law twice. I have their signature from when they received my letter, so they can't say they didn't get it.

      Statements were sent to the patient to the same address listed in the BBB complaint on 8/26/19, 2/1/20, 11/29/23 and 11/30/23.
      Sound Physicians Emergency Medicine has only billing account records (statements) such as statements.  If the patient is requesting any other documentation such as medical records, they must obtain it through the medical records department at the hospital.
      For further assistance the patient can reach out to the collection agency or call the billing department at *************.

      I did not request medical records. I requested validation governed by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act which the business has violated twice now.

      The complaint still stands, as they continue to collect on a bill they have failed to validate. They can't just harass me by saying I owe something but have no proof and then ignorey FDCPA rights protected activity requesting validation.
