    Over charged on an agreed price before work started. Then upon completion and never received a call for approval for going over agreed price. Now there asking for me to pay over ******* for working I didnt approve on! Like the extra cost for the removal and installation of Freon due to shop didnt have the right equipment. Second charge of an exhaust leak that was found but they worked in that for the job required for the exhaust be removed. Improper tuning that almost damaged my engine!I also had to pay a different shop 930 dollars for remote tuning to ensure my vehicle was safe to drive! I had to call another shop to troubleshoot a component that was installed and not properly tested for proper operation.

    This service was done in June of 2022. I kept in contact with *** by telephone as the job was going along & let him know about any additional charges, so he was not surprised. The only last-minute charge was to change the sparkplugs & I emailed him to let him know. We did not charge him labor to R/R the sparkplugs, just the parts themselves.

    *** was aware of the sublet charge for removal &installation of the freon. This was discussed with *** before the job was performed & *** was told we would let him know how much it would cost as soon as we were billed from the A/C Guy who performed the service. This is required when doing a camshaft job on these types of vehicles. The A/C condenser, radiator & heat exchanger must be removed to do the job. The vehicle also had a major oil leak. We replaced the front crank seal &cleaned up all the oil. The vehicle had exhaust leaks as well that we also repaired. The only part of the exhaust that had to be removed for the camshaft job was the already installed longtube headers (not the exhaust system). The tuning of the vehicle was done properly. We guarantee our tunes for ********************************************** drivability issues with their vehicle, it is required to make an appointment in a timely matter to make proper adjustments. This was not done on Toms part. *** decided to take his vehicle elsewhere. The tuning community in this area is very small. We all know each other & communicate with each other. **** current tuner had to put him in his place because *** was still not happy that the vehicle did not perform any better. We have been telling *** for 4 years that he needs to change the wheels & tires to drag radials. Which he has finally done (now).

    When *** arrived to pick up his vehicle & pay his bill,he said he would make payments for the remaining balance of $2073.77 because he did not have enough at that time. No payments ever received. 6 months later (in January 2023) *** stopped by without an appointment with a concern about his vehicle that it had a misfire. I pulled 2 of my technicians off their current jobs to help & take care of the issue (an hours worth) and did not charge *** for this service. Received an email from *** shortly after this & he was happy. Before he left that day, I spoke with *** regarding setting up a payment plan. He asked for some time because he is on a fixed income.   Tried emailing him in February to get an idea of any payments. No response. It is now exactly a year later with no return phone calls or emails & no payments. We were forced to turn this matter into a collection agency as we have been very patient regarding this matter.
