    My wife received a call stating that we had won an SUV; we never entered any contest, we didn't have anything like that in the works. My wife asked who they were looking for and they said they only have phone numbers and not names. How are you giving away entire cars with just a phone number? They didn't ask for details but wanted us to go to a location to collect our reward. It all seems extremely fishy. I told my wife it was a scam, saw the BBB rating saying it was not accredited, and now I am requesting that this be labeled fully as a scam. There's no way this isn't one, and my wife was nearly tricked into this. When I applied my logic of the situation, she realized all of the red flags and asked what we should do about it. I just wanna make sure people aren't hurt by these sick and greedy individuals. No one was hurt here, I don't seek damages or anything like that. All I want is the red flags to be posted here where the information is trusted.

    Holy Smokes! How did this complaint get linked to us? It is a case of mistaken or stolen identity or some other company using the name Great Promotions or a similar sounding name. It wasn't us however. I know my email address has been stolen by scammers so it wouldn't surprise me if our name could falsely used by scammers and be showing up on caller ids.  We see false names on Caller ID very frequently. 

    We sell promotional products and awards primarily to businesses and organizations in Western Washington. I don't call people to drum up business and never make offers like this. 

    There was no contact from me with these people. I am glad that they were not snagged by this scam and they are right to complain about this kind of sales practice. But how I can resolve a complaint that we had nothing to do with and was attributed to my company in error?

    Thank you. Please try to find out why or how they attributed the scam phone call they received to our company. Did it pop up on a caller id as our name or phone number? Did they identify themselves as being from Great Promotions in *********? I am a one man office and do not have anybody else making phone calls for me.
