Zero stars! Management here is the WORSE! ignore this at your own peril. if you get caught in their mess don't say no one warned you.Firstly, they double booked the apartment we chose, and we had to get a different one. Secondly the apartment had leftover construction debris that we had to clean. Thirdly, the management tried to threaten/extort the entire complex that they were going to raise the rent to account for someone hitting the gate. This gate malfunctions regularly I have noticed the gate open 1/4, or and then abruptly close not running the full cycle- I bet dollars to donuts the gate hit the person not the other way management presented. I don't even know how this management can present this is a gated community, the gate almost never works! We finally get our house sold and buy another one. So based on what I was told by the prior manager, I go to the office to notify them of a lease break and the need to work out the date and terms. Then enter this terrible manager. so she says they never allow lease breaks and then says something to me that would put Dobler Management at odds with Washington State law- she walked it back on the second meeting though lol. Then I try calling the main office to try to resolve our situation- because I wanted to make a deal that was mutually beneficial one that would reflect their inconvenience and also provide a clean break, the lady fingers the managers-the managers point you to call the number so it's a back-and-forth cycle to intentionally waste your time and get you to give up. Also, on the call with the main office the clerk gave me an email address that you can't send messages to. I verified with her the address before hanging up, then sent a message and it comes back undeliverable. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID these are not people you want to do ANY business with.

They are collecting JUNK fees. Two professional engineers with good credit history and multiple years of apartment rental history and they require a last min co-signer?? Excuse is that lots of property rentals won't give history...but they didn't attempt. The form is not tailored at all to be for a co-signer so appears like you are applying for rental yourself. That's $280 application fees AND you can't pay by credit card but have to link directly to your bank acct. Disastor waiting to happen.

Their *********** Apartments Property in ****** is rodent infested, and the corporate office has been allowing harassment and have been over charging me for rent. I have had the same lease for 4 years and they have increased the rent twice. They have threatened my tenancy and **** im not allowed to speak to the Property manager and that I must submit all my issues in writing and to the corporate office. These people are extremely indirect and unprofessional and it's a shame that they own as many properties out here as they do.

Moving goalposts with rental criteria. In my own experience I applied for an apartment that I met their stated rental criteria for only to have them **** up the rent almost immediately after I applied. The rent payment listed on their site and on the application do not match. The manager or their representative, whoever I was talking to, asked for more paystubs from me because by their calculations I did not make 3x the rent per month. I will leave to the reader to decide if ******** per month is 3 times ********. Then the goalposts moved again to based off my year to date income. So I sent in paystubs from my previous employer where I had a slightly higher hourly wage than my current one. But somehow I still didnt qualify. Then the manager or their representativeagain not entirely sure who Im talking to at any given momentattempted to sell me on a different apartment which wouldnt be available until 5 days after the move in date for the apartment I had originally applied for. And I quoteYou cant just stay with friends or family until then? Office staff who was answering the phones was also extremely unhelpful. A lot of one word answers and long silences. There was one who I talked to once that actually seemed to know or care what was going on, however regarding everyone else this was not the case. Needless to say I will not be ************ and I would strongly recommend against anyone else doing so.

This review leaves out opinions and reports the facts that have been uncovered through investigation. This property Management company engages in predatory renting. When I moved in, they let me sign a 9 month lease. At that time, they told me I would be able to sign another long term lease after the initial lease expired. However, when my 9 month lease expired they told me they didn't offer long term leases anymore. So my rent was raised $50 per month and I was now "month to month." Fast forward 4 months, rent has been increased again, another $60 (without explanation). So that is a total of $110 rent increase in 4 months. I have talked to other tenants and everyone I have spoken with are in a similar situation; some people experienced as many as 4 rent increases in the past 8 months. In every case, the tenant I spoke to was not allowed to sign a long term lease.

Dobler Management manages several properties throughout Tacoma. Their offices are never open even though they claim to have office hours **** and 3-6. The office staff (if they truly exist) do not return phone calls. When you are lucky enough to connect with an on-site staff member, you are never told if there is truly an apartment available. They tell you there might be an apartment, however to be considered you must fill out on-line application and pay the non-refundable $60 screening fee. They always state first come, first served.I've yet to meet a staff member in person at any of their properties. Very poorly managed. Read the ****** reviews. That should tell you all that you need to know.
