My concerns are regarding my recent experience applying for housing through this company under the Housing Connector program. As a mother of four currently experiencing homelessness, I was under the impression that this program was designed to assist individuals in situations like mine. I was disheartened to learn that my application was denied due to an $8,000 debt, which I clarified was not related to rental history but instead an automotive debt. Unfortunately, this was not taken into consideration despite my strong rental history and stable income. Moreover, my interaction with ****** ***** *** during the process was particularly upsetting. After informing him that I had moved and was no longer residing at the address on my application, he responded dismissively, saying, "Well, normal people go to the post office and do a change of address form; its only $1." This comment felt insensitive, especially given that my homelessness was disclosed. When I reiterated that I was applying through the Housing Connector program, he responded curtly that my debt still exceeded your thresholdl, dismissing the context of my situation. I am confused because the Housing Connector program specifically advertised your property management company as one that supports individuals facing significant barriers to housing, like mine. Despite meeting key qualifications such as income and rental history, my application was not fully considered. This experience has left me feeling unheard and unsupported during a time of great need. I urge Spinnaker Property Management to review this matter and provide clarity on how the Housing Connector program is intended to assist applicants like me. As the holiday season approaches, securing stable housing for my family is my utmost priority, and I hope to find a solution that aligns with the program's goals.Thank you for taking the time to consider my concerns. I would appreciate any guidance or support you can offer in resolving this matter.

      Dear *****,

I wanted to address the situation you mentioned regarding the Housing Connector Program and the denial of your application to lease a home from Spinnaker. After speaking with the leasing department, I have received some clarification on the matter.
First and foremost, I sincerely apologize for any confusion caused by the agency you're working with, which partners with *****************. It appears that they did not adequately explain the process or our criteria before you submitted your application.
We have had a strong and positive relationship with Housing Connector for many years, and as a 3rd party management company, we have specific rental criteria in place due to our fiduciary responsibility to our investors. This is why we must follow these particular guidelines when renting through Housing Connector.
To help prevent this from happening in the future, we have reached out to Housing Connector to request additional training for the agency you were working with.
Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience, and we wish you the best of luck in your housing search.

I would give Spinnaker Property Management 0/5 stars if possible. They are very unprofessional ****'s almost impossible to get through to maintenance when you need them. I rented from Spinnaker for 4 years & had multiple issues with appliances breaking. They do not have any urgency when responding to maintenance requests. The only reason I stayed with them for so many years was because I had to, due to financial reasons. They lost our first lease, which we had signed in ***** ****** us an email asking us when we moved in & when our lease was signed. Very unprofessional. They offered renters insurance in the beginning, then told us it was no longer being offered & we needed to get our own & show them proof. I did just that, sent ****** ****** still charged us for months after for their renters insurance. They continuously bothered us about sending proof of renters insurance which I had done. In the summer of 2023 our fridge went out, & was holding temp at 55 degrees. They took about a week to respond, & didn't help cover the cost of all the spoiled food. It took them a few more weeks to get someone out to fix the problem, which didn't end up being fixed. Finally they gave us a replacement fridge after about 2 months. Throughout the lease we would receive texts saying they added a utility bill charge to our account due to them not charging us for utilities months prior. Close to the end of leaving, the pipes broke due to cold ******** **** was impossible to get someone on the phone who knew what to do. I called multiple times & finally had to just shut our water off. We had to go 2 days with no ****** ****** didn't reimburse for the water we had to purchase. With the pipes breaking, the washer also broke. Also in the weeks before we moved out, the downstairs toilet broke ****** again took their time responding to us & getting someone out to fix it. We ended up moving before the washer was ever fixed. They then sent us to collections with less than 30 days to pay.

Spinnaker Property.Mis-Management is essentially a group of CRIMINALS disguised as property managers. On 2 March 2023 in ********, **. They ILLEGALLY entered a ********* home without their permission, or any notice and stole a myriad of items, including TVs, stereo equipment, jewelry, *********** headphones, wedding rings, tools, shoes, Blink Security Camera system, clothing items, 10 firearms, several thousand rounds of ammunition, window air conditioners, a small refrigerator, a Nuwave Air Fryer, and a myriad of other items. Using an illegal "Self-Help" eviction as an excuse. There were NEVER a late or missed rent payment and NO legal reason in accordance with **************** RCW ***** and other sub sections to initiate any eviction procedure. I would give them a ZERO rating if it was an option.

You were physically evicted by ****** ************************** All of your belongings were removed from your home and placed on the street, per the physical eviction laws. You were given plenty of time (5 months) to move out on your own and you thought for some reason you did not have to move after we asked you to. We followed every law, and you had your day in court and still chose not to move. No one "stole" anything from you.
