    I am writing to seek urgent assistance regarding a situation involving my application and lease agreement with *** on Market Apartments Tacoma WA, which was referred to me by the Tacoma Housing Authority.On [12/19/2024], I was informed by an employee of Koz on Market Apartments that I was approved for a ********** apartment. Following this, I sent an email to you requesting verification of my qualification for the apartment from Tacoma Housing Authority but, to date, I have not received a response via phone or email.Trusting the approval from the employee of Koz on Market, I signed a lease agreement on December 20th, 2024, and planned to move in on January 7th, 2025. However, upon my arrival after traveling approximately 838 miles from ******, **********, I was informed by another employee that I was not qualified for the ********** apartment due to an error made by the previous employee. The employee then offered me another apartment at $200 more per month. I felt deceived and left to discuss this with my family. I immediately contacted the Tacoma Housing Authority via phone and email, expressing my concerns and seeking verification that I was not scammed by *** on Market Apartments. Despite following up five days later, I have not yet received a response.Given these circumstances, I am now a homeless disabled veteran residing in transitional housing in ******, **********, with the support of the VA. I respectfully request your assistance in verifying my qualifications and addressing this issue with Koz on Market Apartments to resolve the situation promptly.I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

    We have reviewed the complaint and have communicated with the party. While this complaint is regarding a separate business, we acknowledge the customers concerns with his application experience. THA will communicate with the responsible party to ensure this does not continue to happen to other applicants. We appreciate the feedback.
